Welcome to captivatingly beautiful Chatham & "Harbor View Lodge", a private sailing lodge in prestigious Chatham, now a beautiful, quality, year-round vacation house.
This spacious, charming, well-maintained, extra-large 14-room beach-house-style lodge is "Family Reunion Perfect"! The common areas are large (great room, dining room, family room, breakfast area, etc.), there are two full kitchens, and the bedrooms are numerous: 9 bedrooms with 7Q, 2 Sofabeds, 10T (ALL beds are suitable for adults or children...no bunk beds, no trundles, no undersized beds, no cots), comfortably sleeps up to 20 and will accommodate 19 adult singles; or 9 couples; or families of all ages & grandparents. Private 1st floor quarters with 3 bedrooms (2Q, 2 Sofabeds, 5T), living/dining/2nd kitchen area, full bath, for general use or for additional privacy for families with young children, or grandparents. New central A/C throughout! High-speed wireless internet. Five modern baths. Oriental rugs, rustic charm, beamed ceilings, wide pine floors, massive fireplace, quality furnishings...a crisp immaculate modern-classic...safe for young children (fully enclosed 10x30 harbor view deck, private off-road grounds). Very spacious, private, & affordable for multiple families.
This charming, well-maintained private beach house overlooks Oyster Harbor off Nantucket sound, the warmer side of the Atlantic Ocean, where you can sun and relax on the deck and enjoy the lively harbor boating scene. Stroll, bike, or drive to magnificent Hardings Beach; with large groups, do all three. If you drive, there are 2 large parking areas. Come and go to the beach throughout the day. The property is located half way between shops, restaurants, ice cream parlors, etc. and the beach; each 1/2-3/4 mi safe sidewalk away.
Harding's Beach is 1-1/2 miles in length and offers two spacious white sandy beaches with warm water swimming and terrific beach combing. National Geographic Traveler ranks Hardings as the "Top Cape Cod Beach For Families of All Ages". The water is warmer since the beach faces south on Nantucket Sound and the waves are perfect, non-threatening, for young and old. REAL bathhouses, lifeguards, beautiful dunes, breath-taking walk to Lighthouse... incomparable!

"I just got back to town after a great time on Cape Cod. The house worked out great for us. We really enjoyed ourselves and the relaxing setting. Everything we needed was there including the lobster pot. Beds were comfortable, nice to have two kitchen spaces and refrigerators, and the dining room was spacious and comfortable (we ate at the house most evenings). Thanks for the nice bottle of wine - we opened it as soon as we arrived and enjoyed it immensely."

This is a wonderful, livable, cozy, cape cod home, very deceptive in terms of spaciousness from the outside. We had a great family week, with several beautiful beach days at Hardings, Cockle Cove and Oyster Pond, plus many early morning beach walks at Hardings. This house is thoughtfully and beautifully appointed with meticulous attention to detail. All in all, it was a wonderful vacation in a house that facilitated communal living and communication. By the way, the floors are masterpieces. Someone appreciates the natural beauty of wood and has gone to great lengths to preserve its grains, and we were admiring the workmanship. A great stay!

We had the most wonderful vacation in this beautiful Harbor House! It was the perfect accommodation for our family - and we loved Chatham and all the local activities offered in the area. We expecially loved clamming with the locals! The children were thrilled with their "catch" and impressed when we ate it. Delicious! We will highly recommend this property to others!

Our immediate family and close relatives attended a family wedding at the Wequassett Inn this past June and we carefully searched for the perfect family gathering place. We wanted to all be together under the same roof in a relaxed but "really nice" atmosphere. This place was perfect! We barbequed, played a few rounds of golf, had many walks to beautiful Hardings Beach, and LOVED the deck and views. The water at Hardings was warm enough in June to swim, which the kids loved! The home was gracious, spacious, pristine, relaxing, and fully stocked. The wedding was beautiful as was the great mini family reunion we had in this perfect location!

Fifteen members of my family held a reunion at this property, and we would go back in a heartbeat. The house is spacious, light, and extremely well decorated and cared for. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and small appliances, etc. The owners thoughtfully provide internet access, games, information on local restaurants and activities... even a bottle of wine. It is clear that this house has been a labor of love. No detail was left unattended. We enjoyed sitting on the deck; the livingroom has a large gas fireplace and a comfortable sitting area. The setting is lovely, and is located near the town of Chatham which offers good shopping and some excellent restaurants. Try the Del Mar for a really good meal. The owner was warm, responsive and accommodating, and I look forward to returning in the future. This is our second stay at this property.

We have travelled extensively and have stayed in many houses (20+-) and this house is the best appointed ever! It surpasses anything we have stayed in in Europe or the States. We felt very comfortable and our extended family adopted the house during our 6 night stay! The location of the house was perfect. This is a delightful holiday spot and Cape Cod is marvellous! We'll be back!
