The overall experience was good at this condo. The pictures are exact, what you see is what you get. It was spacious enough for the 4 adults we had there for 1 week. It was mostly equipped with items we needed which was nice as we were able to save money by not eating out for every meal. It could have been cleaner (dead bugs on carpet and large cob webs in some corners).The one thing they don't tell you in the listing is you will spend hours doing laundry before you leave. The condo is at the end of the complex right by the street so it was quite noisy, but after a night or 2 we didn't notice the traffic as much because we were used to it. You must rent a car if you stay here, as nothing was within a short walking distance. The beach across the street was destroyed in a storm so we even had to drive to get to a beach. Whale watching, snorkeling, shopping, and beaches were all some of the things we did while their, but the closest of those 4 is at least a 5 minute drive away.

Owner response:Aloha and thank you for the review. I do apologize if there were any cob webs etc., that needed to be knocked down. As everyone knows, these things can form over night, especially in a tropical enviroment and my cleaning crew has been cleaning for me for 5 years with no issues. Had we been made aware of any cleanliness issues we would have been right over to take care of them. For the beach across the street, ALL of our beaches in Maui have taken a hit, as we had 3 of the largest storms in years over a 3 week period of time. Most of our beaches are about half the size they normally are right now due to the storms, but they will come back as mother nature takes it course. The county is currently working on restoring the beach directly across the street now, and it should be back up and accessable shortly. However, there are two other beaches within a 5 minute walk of the condo that are doing just fine, a bit smaller than normal but still very lovely. I am not sure why this guest felt the need to do hours of laundry, that is what our cleaning crew does.

We rented this condo for eight days with another couple. The two bedrooms/bathrooms were separate enough to feel like you had your own space. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because the previous occupants didn't clean the dishes very well and there was crud stuck to them so we had to re-wash them all. We also ran out of paper towels and dishwasher soap, but the owner quickly replenished these items once we brought it to her attention. The place comes with everything you need for the beach including boogie boards. The community pool is also a nice place to relax. It's a few miles north of downtown Kihei, so renting a car is ideal. This place is smaller than the pictures make it look, but it was still a relaxing place to be. Staying here and cooking our own meals saved us a ton of money and allowed us to do all of the activities we wanted to do. I would recommend this over a resort any day!

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This condo is great if you have a family of four. The downstairs bedroom is great for the kids and the upstairs loft bedroom is well appointed for the adults!!! The beach is an easy 5-10 minute walk down the road. Grocery shopping is near by. The kitchen is well appointed with new appliances. The central location on the island is perfect for touring. I will defineatly stay again.
