Why the Owner Chose Pompano Beach
We purchased the Pompano Beach Duplex as our home. We lived in one side of the duplex while renting out the other for many years. It's proximity to the beach, restaurants, parks and many other great areas of interest have made it just right for us. Work and life has taken us all over the globe, but our little place in Pompano Beach has always been our home base. We live at the Pompano Beach Duplex for a little more than half the year, and the rest we spend at our new place just outside Charlottesville, Virginia.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment
Our favorite way to spend a day in Pompano Beach is by first hitting the sand. We like to ride our bikes to the beach early in the morning and take a nice long walk. Later, we'll meet up with some friends and enjoy a mid-day game of volleyball (the nets are free - just remember to bring your own ball). Later we'll head back to the Duplex to grill some good food and swim in the pool. We end the night with a relaxing soak in the hot tub. What a perfect day!
This is the main municipal beach. You'll find a sea turtle hatchery in-season, and the lifeguard headquarters. You can park here, but bring lots of quarters - the parking is metered.
The closest park (there are several in the area), with a great playground for the kids. It even has horseshoe pits and a sand volleyball net. Bring your own ball and shoes...

You can do it! The 5 mile track around the Air Park is a great way to work off all that great vacation food. I like to rollerblade, but you can bike, run, or just walk the paved path around the Air
You've seen it on TV and at games, but the home of the Goodyear Blimp is right here! Chances are you'll see it in the sky around town. Call for take off and landing times and watch the big guy off.

Publix is a great grocery store. They make great subs, fresh sushi, and have an excellent selection overall. They even have beach goodies like chairs, floats, umbrellas - everything you need.
One of the best Italian restaurants in town. Nicer than a pizza joint, but still casual enough for jeans. Try the house salad - to die for! Busy in season, so make reservations.

I needed a short term rental while my husband and I were searching for a home to purchase here in Ft. Lauderdale. I found this listing and called the owner Tia. We stayed at her place for 90 days, and I can tell you it was wonderful. The property manager Sherry is very nice and extremely helpful. The unit is comfortable and spacious and very well kept. The pool was an added bonus and we used it almost everyday. We even had our dog with us and he felt right at home and I was so happy Tia is pet friendly. I felt very safe on the neighborhood and loved that we were so close to the beach. This is a GREAT place to stay. Very clean, nicely decorated and everything is included....what more could you ask for. Tia makes it the perfect vacation home!!

As first time renters for a long term stay we were very pleased with our accomodations . The Duplex was cozy-warm and inviting and most importantly clean and well furnished. It only took us a few days to make this our home-away from home. It is situated in a very quiet residential area, so if you are looking for a place to make lots of friends- this is not it. This is however a great place to relax- sit by the pool enjoying a good book or take a nice bike ride. I quickly discovered the Olympic Pool only minutes away and was able to sign up for water-aerobics classes and met some nice people . There are plenty of shopping opportunites, restaurants (we love going to the French Quarter Restaurant),walking paths and even a fun little Market to explore on Saturday mornings! We have family in Hollywood- so we were able to spend lots of quality time with them while having our own place to go to when we wanted. Our dog was very comfortable as well at the duplex and quickly made it her comfort zone. Thank you Tia for sharing your little piece of heaven with us and for being so accomodating and helpful ! Oh, by the way- thank you for the great weather too! Hopefully, we will be back before we know it!

My family and I had an excellent experience during our stay. The property is very clean and quiet, all the amenites you would need are present, and the location is great. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a spacious 2 bedroom apartment very close to the beach in a location close to restaurants, shopping malls, highways, grocery stores...

We stayed at this property in June 2009. The condo was clean and roomy. It was also in a very quiet neighborhood. Tia was very helpful throughout the process of renting this property. This condo is about a 15 minute drive to Ft. Lauderdale, and also very close to shopping and restaurants. I recommend the Ft. Lauderdale ghost tour, and swimming at any of the area beaches. There is also the Bonnet House which is a botanical garden that has live monkeys on the grounds, and several state parks that are very inexpensive.

This was all that we expected. The location made it possible for quick trips to the beach, shopping, and the Casino. We were able to walk to the library and because we had a lease we were given a temporary Library Card. Our 2 Miniature Schnauzers were walked on a regular basis and the area was perfect for them. The TV and DVR were perfect for us. We could travel and see all the sites then come back to watch our favorite programs. The place is very clean. The furniture in the rooms was modern and extremely comfortable. We only had 4 chairs for dining. So if you wanted to entertain more guests, we had a problem. We were able to locate some chairs and donated them to the unit. So now there were 6 chairs. The kitchen was small but had all the utensils and gadgets you needed. I would highly recommend this Unit. We shall return
