The wonderful new resort boasts its own LAZY River, 10-foot-tall waterfall, beautiful Gulf side pools, game room, fitness and so much more. Waterscape is an incredible destination for your next family vacation, business retreat or just a great weekend getaway. The fitness facility here is state of the art and it is "hidden" just past the waterfall with a view to inspire you. I personally could spend the entire day floating along the lazy river soaking up the sun.
While staying at Waterscape you will have two great restaurants just across the street, Old Bay Steamer & The Original Fudpuckers Bar & Grill.

When you chose to dine out on Okaloosa Island, you have several places to choose from, almost every type of cuisine is offered...
My all time favorite is Old Bay Steamer. They specialize in steamed seafood by the bucket full. Lobster tails, snow crab, king crab & shrimp are the contents of one of their buckets for two. Prepare to get messy enjoying your meal; It's not an uncommon site to see the waiters placing bibs around their patrons’ necks. They also offer pasta & steaks for the non-seafood lovers.
If you are craving Mexican food there is Los Panchos on Amberjack Drive. They have been around since 1964 and offer authentic Tex-Mex Cuisine and Take out is also available.
For an Italian Feast, head over to Pranzo. It's located across Miracle Strip Parkway on the left. They have a casual family atmosphere and the food is pretty darn good too. Pandora's Steakhouse is also located here; they have wonderful seafood dishes along with a Wine Spectator award winning wine list. They have been a local’s favorite for three decades.
The original Fudpuckers Bar & Grill is located on Okaloosa Island. Fudpuckers opened in Fort Walton Beach on Okaloosa Island in 1986 and has become a favorite for visitors and locals alike. This is a great place to meet up with family and friends. The younger ones in your group will enjoy the playground and everyone will enjoy the live music.
The best pizza on the Island comes from Helen Back. You can pick up their pizza to go or enjoy the back patio on the water.
Waterscape is located close by to the Boardwalk in Ft. Walton Beach. Here you will find several great restaurants and entertainment. The Crab Trap restaurant is a family favorite with a playground in front of the restaurant on the beach and you can also find several sand volleyball courts here too. Floyd's Fish House is located here too, their downstairs area overlooks the beach. My favorite dining here for dinner is the Black Pearl. The chef always comes up with creative seafood dishes, the steaks are pretty good too. The Swamp is a great place to catch some the best touring acts. Howl at the Moon is a fun place to go with a group of friends. You will also find a few specialty stores at the Boardwalk too, great for a new bathing suit for your trip or a great beach souvenir.

We have stayed in this condo 2 years straight. Decorated very nice and very relaxing furniture. Unit is very clean. The owner is very nice to work with. The resort has everything for children to adults who love the water and outdoors. Our grandchild loves the pools and the sandy white beach. Great location !!! Hopefully looking forward to stay this year also.

Our family sayed in this beautiful unit Aug 2009. It is truly beautiful, immaculate, and we had a blast. The bunks were perfect for our 2 kids, ages 5 and 8. I would definitely recommend it to those traveling with kids. The resort has a mini waterpark that our kids really enjoyed also.
