Beautiful Gulf and beach views are just the beginning at Pelican Isle. Add the popular floor plan, designer furnishings and all the amenities, including beach front pool, to create an ideal vacation destination. This colorful mid rise property has over 300 feet of beachfront waiting for you!
Take advantage of the sidewalks that line Santa Rosa Boulevard and take an early morning or late afternoon jog & then enjoy the beachfront hot tub at Pelican Isle.
Our kitchen is fully equipped so you can prepare all of your meals here during your stay. If you do decide to dine out you will have several choices. My personal favorite is Old Bay Steamer. They specialize in steamed seafood by the bucket full. The food is wonderful here; we always make a point to eat here during our visits to the area. Pasta & steaks are also offered.
The original Fudpuckers Bar & Grill is located on the Island too! Established on Okaloosa Island in 1986 it is a favorite for visitors & locals alike. This lively restaurant is great for the younger crowd with the playground out front. Everyone will enjoy the live music.
If you are looking for great pizza you can find it at Helen Back. We usually order ours for takeout.
For Mexican head to Los Panchos. Authentic Tex Mex food is offered & it is also available for take out. Walk here too!
Pandora’s Steakhouse is across Miracle Strip Parkway & offers steak, seafood & prime rib. They also have a Wine Spectator award winning wine list too. Italian Food can be found at Pranzo next door to Pandora's.

What to do while you are visiting the Emerald Coast...
Try to catch your dinner at the Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier. This 1262 ft long fishing pier has an octagon at the end so everyone has room to fish. Even if you are not in to fishing, you can enjoy wonderful sunsets at the pier and also get a chance to see the dolphins. If you didn't bring your rod & reel, don't worry, you may rent one there.
For the ultimate in sightseeing go parasailing. Sun Dogs parasailing on Okaloosa Island offers this service for the area. The views are wonderful & the ride is exhilarating.
Venturing along Main Street in Ft. Walton Beach you will find unique shopping and dining. Here you will find Coca-Cola memorabilia, adorable children’s clothes, souvenirs to take back home and more. Check out the bistro on the corner, their food is wonderful.
Visit the Gulfarium and see all sorts of marine life such as seals, sea lions, sharks, alligators, penguins and more. They have almost continuous dolphin shows throughout the day.
If you decide to escape Okaloosa Island, Destin, Florida is only a few miles away....
Great shopping is to had at the Destin Commons outdoor mall, you will enjoy such great stores as Abercrombie & Fitch, Ann Taylor Loft, Banana Republic, Belk & Maui Nix Surf Shop to mention a few. Stop for a bite to eat at the Hard Rock Café, Panera Bread or Sushi Siam. More than just shopping, the Destin Commons Center Plaza offers a soft-play kids playground and a 49-head pop fountain. Community activities and entertainment are held through the year at Destin Commons. Rave Motion Pictures is also housed at Destin Commons to catch the latest releases.
Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resorts offers wonderful dining and specialty stores as well as great festivals & events that are held at the Market Shops Green or the Center Plaza within the Village. The kids will love the Euro Bungy & the Zipline at the village.
Destin, Florida is known as the “World’s Luckiest Fishing Village,” & boasts being home to the largest fishing vessel fleet in the state of Florida. You can fish from the beach or boat. If you do not want to bring your boat, one of Destin’s many charter boats would love the opportunity to take you out for full or half day excursion. Water surrounds Destin with the intercoastal waterway to the north and Gulf on the south, creating an abundance of water sports available, including kayaking, wave running, parasailing, kite surfing, snorkeling and so much more!
