Most relaxing vacation

The minute we walked in the door we had the best and most relaxing time! The house was so accomadating and had everything we needed. Plenty of room! My favorite part was the back deck overlooking the river on the rocking chairs watching tubers and the kayaks go by. So peaceful! At the end of the day we enjoyed the hot tub. Also, the kids loved the game room. We enjoyed the area and went to the taccoa Riverfront Restaurant down the street and had a nice meal also enjoyed downtown Blue Ridge and all the quaint shops. A most enjoyable vacation!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

No cold water at kitchen sink,dining room chairs fell apart as soon as they were touched-and this was mentioned in cabin book by previous renters. My family could not eat together becasue only three chairs in the dining area held together-even after we tried to fix them with gorilla glue. No river access, beds were very hard. We have stayed with VRBO many times, the first time I have ever been this displeased. Not a comfortable stay - pull out sofa was broken and filthy, pool table top was dirty, Drip in master bathroom was annoying, made it difficult to sleep. My husband gave me this week in the mountains as a birthday gift, so we made the best of it-enjoyed the tubing and sightseeing. We stay in Blue Ridge at least twice a year-but not likely to stay here again. We have had much nicer cabins at a better price.
