We had a great stay at Marmot's Nest in Whistler - in the past we have usually stayed in the Village but we thought we would try Creekside for a change. The unit was very clean / comfy beds and had all the space we needed. We had our 3 teenage boys with us so the loft / 2nd bedroom / 2nd bathroom set up worked really well - spiral staricase is very steep so not for young kids or people with knee issues! Great location to walk to nearby lifts, restaurants and pubs and very easy for the 19 and 20 year olds to catch a bus over to the village when their parents became too boring!! We will be back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

We had an awesome stay again in January - and are going again this weekend! It will be our third stay at Marmot's Nest this winter, because it is such a great place. It is such a treat to be able to walk (actually, ski most of the way!) to the lifts, and we really like Creekside. Everything you need and want, but gondola lifts lines aren't as long and you don;t have the crazy partiers of the Village! Marmot's Nest is perfectly set-up for skiers/boarders - there is room for your gear, a cozy fire to sit around, and a big screen TV. All in all, a great place to stay.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Perfect rental for two couples who want to ski, relax, and enjoy Whistler. Easy walk to Creekside Gondola (about 10 min in ski boots). Parking is close and easy, the rental was clean and well-maintained and the owners were very responsive. It was wonderful to be able to drive to Whistler Village for dinner and drinks, then come "home" to get a good night's sleep in a much quieter area. Also loved having a secure place to store our skis. If you are taller than 6 foot you might want to avoid the loft, but it would be great for kids or teenagers (or shorter people :) We hope to return next year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, pet owners.

The "Marmot's Nest" is a nice little place that suited our family of 5 well. Very convenient location, only a few minutes away from the Creekside gondola and groceries, etc. Parking was slightly challenging in that our vehicle with gear carrier on top would not fit in the garage, but this was a minor issue. We would definitely stay there again.Recommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car.
Owner response: Thanks for your comments Steve. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay at the Marmot’s Nest. While the underground parking is closest to our unit, for those vehicles that are unable to use the underground parking (we drive a medium size SUV with a roof rack without any issue), there is above ground parking and overflow parking available at the entrance to our complex. Parking details are included with our check-in package.

Lovely property. Peaceful location within easy walking distance of lifts and village. Cosy and inviting living area and our teenage boys appreciated having separate rooms and a bathroom for their use. We enjoyed the real fireplace, too. would definitely return.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We enjoyed our long weekend at your place. It is definitely what we are looking for in a place to rent. Some comments: - we prefer Creekside, so the location is perfect (and for summer, right on the Valley trail is awesome) - the condo it is just the right size for 4, and nice to have it on two levels - it is great to have two bathrooms, - it was so lovely to be able to bring our dog with us, - we had everything we needed, creature-comfort wise – from coffee to a big TV to wifi - the renovated kitchen and bathrooms made it feel fresh - we are both architects, so we notice details: like the light and bright living space – so nice to have painted the walls a nice, light white, and have it feel bright and spacious! - everything was clean - the linens were nice, and the white towels were lovely and new! - the bed was firm – love that! - dealing with you was great, and I like the balance between being friendly and accessible but also having a contract and some formality (I think I mentioned before we had a previous flaky VRBO experience that left me wondering if we even had a booking with them) - parking was easy, and we just locked our bikes up outside and felt that they were fine. All in all a great experience!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

My family of (4) stayed to spend time mountain biking around Whistler. Although a little cozy with having our mountain bikes safely stored inside, it worked very well for us. The place is clean, well equipped between kitchen necessities and comfortable. We plan to be back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Place came very well stocked and also very clean. Bathrooms with shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotions, and lots of towels. Kitchen has tons of pots and pans, spices!!, and also coffee/tea/sugar. Extra blankets for the bedrooms. Also a grill to use (we didn't try but it looked nice). We cooked breakfast and dinner here without a problem. Dishwasher really made that a lot easier too. Location was great, walked to the slopes. Came with free parking although car not necessary to get around, we didn't use car to go sking/snowboarding. Nearby grocery and liquor store and places to eat. Place was perfect for 2 couples, separation of bedrooms/bathrooms upstairs and downstairs allowed for lots of privacy and able to do stuff like watch movies/talk in livingroom without disturbing whoever might be sleeping in one of the bedrooms. Would definitely come back or recommend to a friend!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This property is very well maintained, organized, fully-equipped kitchen, easy access to Creekside village and gondola. We could easily cook a full meal, enjoyed the big screen TV for movies, internet connection was helpful, ski closet handy to keep organized, great no stairs for easy unloading. Lovely features, fresh, bathrooms in great condition. Wonderful that we could bring our dog with us, too. Easy walk to Creekside to catch bus to WHistler Village. Unit very fairly priced. Owner was tremendously helpful, above and beyond for all our questions and needs. We have already recommended this property and hope to return again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Family of 4 adults and 1 baby had a very cozy stay! We went just a couple of weeks before Christmas to celebrate early and it was a wonderful stay! The kitchen had everything we needed - all spices and basics of pots and pans (suited for a bachelor pad - not necessarily a "gourmet" kitchen - but who's here to cook anyways!) Distance to Whistler Creekside was a total bonus - although we never walked...kinda lazy...but we definitely COULD have if we got stranded. Easy loading of food and luggage as the unit is at the end of a driveway, and parking is close and underground in case of heavy snowfall. Washrooms were very clean and even had 2 people using both showers at once without trouble. In House washer and dryer a definite bonus as well! Thanks for the great stay! Will definitely be back! Cheers!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car.

Our family of 4 adults and 1 baby thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marmot's Nest. The location was convenient to walking paths, a restaurant ( Duffy's) and many scenic outings at the centre of Whistler Village. The apartment is well equipped with everything that you might need for a comfortable stay. We cooked and ate all our meals "in house". There even is a small balcony to sit on to enjoy the scenery while having before dinner drinks.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We have stayed at the Marmot's Nest for the past 3 years for a total of 6 weeks. It's the perfect get away with all the conveniences of home... fireplace, BBQ, big screen TV's and covered parking tucked in amongist the trees and close to the slopes. It's tastefully decorated and this year the townhouse was remodeled with new carpets and added a second bedroom and bath. Olympic, ski, and outdoor photographs is the perfect motif. The Marmot's Nestis a great place to relax and we plan to make it part of our ski vacations for years to come.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 5/5

We have stayed at Marmot's Nest several times now and the name doesn't lie...it truly is a fabulous 'nest' on Creekside. So very well equipped and cozy, you'll want for nothing and feel right at home here. The 'nest' is a perfect spot for a getaway to Whistler...and a walk away from the lifts!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 5/5

Thanks so much for your wonderfully equipped home. Only issue was that past renters had taken extra parking pass so made it a bit difficult for any visitor. Other than that wonderful location and great space. We would definitely return.Owner response: Trish, thanks for your comments. Sorry about the parking pass, during the time you were renting (NY's) our strata only allows one parking pass. We look forward to having you again! Regards, Jessica & David

I would highly recommend this property. It is well maintained, has great nature views and it's in an excellent location (easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and skiing but far enough to allow for a cozy and quiet atmosphere). I stayed here with four other friends and there was more than enough space to accommodate us all. I will definitely be staying here again!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
