  A friend and I just returned from Vancouver and a stay in the Garden Suite. The photographs do not do justice to the whimsical, fun and very private garden and you have to look closely to see all the treasures! The Garden Suite was perfect for the two of us: very tastefully decorated and well equipped for eating in. The beds are extremely comfortable. The location is perfect for discovering the charms of Vancouver, either on foot or by taking the public transportation which is nearby and we very much appreciated the hot tub at the end of the day. Francois is also very charming (we met Petr briefly and I am sure he is too), and he gave us recommendations for good restaurants. In addition he made us laugh - always a good characteristic. We would highly recommend this accommodation when visiting Vancouver where the touch is personal but not intrusive.

  Home Suite Home is a perfect description! Walking onto the property was a breath of fresh air. Everything about the place is so charming. The Garden Suite is immaculate and the decor amazing. Every detail had been carefully considered, right up to the "nightcap" in bedroom. The kitchen is suitable for cooking gourmet meals if you want to take that route. The bed was so comfy and robes were certainly a welcome touch when you happen to be travelling "light"! The location of the property makes it easy to get around the city. We didn't have a car but did not find that to be a problem whatsoever. The neighborhood and surrounding areas are vibrant and charming. There are great markets and restaurants within walking distance if you feel like exploring! As for me, I could have just hung out in the garden and enjoyed the unique surroundings. Francois and Petr could not have done any more to make our stay unforgettable. Thanks for everything. You were so helpful! Hope to see you next time we travel through your beautiful city.

  What a fantastic trip down memory lane .You have made the trip even more a fab . The little chocolate and the night cap, red rubbon around the news paper . I hope it always stay the same .... fellas you are super so is the flat , thank you for your kindness advice ,giggles.when I think of Vancouver I will think of you Lots of love

  I stayed in the Garden Suite for the month of March, 2010 and enjoyed every day. The location is perfect - 4 blocks to 4th and 2 blocks to Broadway where you can find all the stores, restaurants and cafes Kitsilano has to offer. It is also walkable to Granville Island where I spent half a day just wandering the shops and bought fresh seafood for a fabulous risotto. Francois' garden is a treasure trove of collectibles - the Olympic rings lit up the garden for the first few weeks and now it has started to morph into an Easter theme. Love all of it! There is really nothing like living in the neighbourhood of Kits and absorbing the unique atmosphere. The beds are extremely comfortable and the best part? The nightly soak in the hot tub with a glass of wine. I've used vrbo all over the world and this spot "Owned the Podium".

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  My wife and I spent the month of September 2009 here. The location in Kitsilano between 4th and Broadway provides easy access to two great shopping districts and is 8 blocks from the Kits Beach. The Garden Suite is 'funky comfort' with all the ammenities including covered deck with hot tub and BBQ. Two large beds, Cable TV, fully equipped kitchen, European bathroom provides everything you could desire. Ask Francois or Petr for anything you need in addition. A joy!
