Our 'home away from home' is a single-story, spacious duplex unit fully equipped and furnished for relaxation and comfort. It is located on a greenbelt just steps away from a large heated swimming pool and hot tub. Enjoy the mountain views, flowers and green area with orange, lemon, and lime trees beside the unit - grapefruit trees are across the street. A fruit picker (non-human, cage on a pole) is in the two-car garage. Ironwood, a premier community in the desert, is gated with full-time security, has spectacular gardens and fruit trees throughout the grounds, and is located in the center of myriad desert facilities and activities. From our patios, walk on a grassy knoll to the pool or access the extensive mountain trail system minutes away.
Our home's open floor plan features a living room with gas fireplace and adjacent dining area. The kitchen features new stainless appliances and is completely equipped. There are two bedrooms, both with adjacent full baths and private patios. The Master Bedroom has a king bed, walk-in closet, vanity area with a separate bathroom. The second bedroom features both queen and single beds and an attached full bath. Both bedrooms have televisions.

Spent Christmas and New Year's here with family and dogs. My sister, who uses a wheelchair, found the condo very easy to enter and get around in. The property's location is convenient, the place looks good and lives nicely, the furnishing/beds are handsome AND comfortable, and the kitchen -- in fact, the entire home -- is very well equipped and very well managed. Too bad the club doesn't let guests play golf but the pool is convenient and Dessert Willows is less than a half hour away and offers two super courses. Plus, The Living Desert is practically next door, and El Paseo shopping & dining is no more than 10 minutes away. Definitely would happily return. Like next week, if that were possible!

I was looking for a place to relax and enjoy the mountains and sunshine. This condo met all of my expectations. We loved the casual/tasteful decor. Beds were wonderful. The neighborhood was quiet. Well rested, we loved taking walks, sitting by the pool, playing cards, and hiking on nearby desert trails. (Don't miss the great information at the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Visitor's Center five minutes away off of Hwy 74. They have maps of the many trails that cover the mountains.)
