After your long journey to the snow covered mountains, arrive at one of the Lincoln Historic Residences and be greeted by the aroma of a fresh crock of soup, baguettes, cheese platter and fresh cookies provided by our personal chef. Better yet, we can provide your family with a gourmet breakfast of quiche, fresh fruit, cereal and muffins. Sit by the crackling fire and enjoy a glass of pino grigio or merlot while planning your adventure in Breckenridge for the next few days. Grab a towel and scurry to the rear of the property and enjoy the ambiance of the semi enclosed hot tub with a view of the Breckenridge slopes.
This historic property was just completely rebuilt from the shell of the original miners cottage. Surprisingly, the interior finishes are of a comfortable contemporary design. The bay shaped living room, dining and kitchen area have beamed ceilings and natural light abounds when the natural cherry shutters are opened. The furniture is custom designed to fit the bay window and there is a 42" plasma television in the living area. The dining room, in the opposite bay window area, seats 6 and features a gas fireplace.
Of course, there is mood lighting for those romantic evenings. This residence is perfect for 2 families or perhaps as a Honeymoon Cottage.
As you enter the residence the living room is on the left and the dining on the right side... follow past the gourmet cherry kitchen with stainless appliances into the laundry and powder room area. For such a cozy home, there is a more than adequate laundry space...handy for those days after skiing! The kitchen is ready for your culinary talents with just about every accessory you would find at home. You may also use the natural gas grill that is hooked up to the house behind this one. All the paper products have been supplied for the home.
Downstairs leads to the bedroom suites...both very private. Suite number one has two comfy full size beds with embroidered sheets and a down comforter, a plasma tv and features a shower in the bath area.
Suite number two features a luxurious king size bed with down comforter; and in the bath, a tub and shower enclosure. All baths are porcelain with tempered glass enclosures.
Summertime activities include mountain hiking, biking,golfing, fishing, white water rafting and hot air ballooning. There is a new children's park that has opened at the base of peak 8.
