If you want a fantastic place to stay while on the island of Kaua'i then this is the place for you. Clean and very organized with every amenity you could think of to make your stay more enjoyable and relaxing. From boogie boards to potato peeler this unit has it all. Location on the island is central and the groundfloor location of the unit is what you had hoped for if you want 24/7 ocean breezes and the sounds of crashing waves coming from the beach. Very quiet location. Well maintained unit and property inside and out. We have been to Kaua'i twice and I wish we had found this property the first time. Mahalo Neil & Louise for not only representing their fabulous unit correctly but exceeding the expectation on all fronts. Very seamless transaction start to finish. From arrival to departure everything was spot on perfect including the spectacular weather they ordered for us. We are already talking about when we could go back and would definitely stay here again. Our only disappointment was leaving so soon.Thanks (Mahalo) again. We'll be back and staying longer!!! We weren't sure whether booking a return trip to Kauai (we were last there for our honeymoon in '98) with all of our kids would be relaxing. Shouldn't have worried though, Neil and Louise have a true slice of paradise, complete with everything a family could need! The condo is perfect, the best location on site and the ground level makes it wonderful with kids. We brought our four children that range in age from 4 to 10 and it was age appropriate for all of us. There grounds are amazing, definitely the lushest on that stretch in Kapaa. The pool is very nice, large and well maintained. The keiki pool is also nice and was a hit with our younger kids. We stayed for just under two weeks and found the amenities perfect. Our family opted to *eat in* and the kitchen in the condo had everything we needed. The condo is very tastefully decorated but we also felt at home with our whole family. The legos in the closet were a nice touch and the kids enjoyed some family friendly movies that you had on hand as well. It is apparent that the owners have equipped their unit to meet the needs of couples, families or any combination of guests. The central location on the island is a real plus as well and we found that travelling around was very convenient from the Lae Nani location. There were a couple of days that we just stayed at the condo, played on the beach and swam in the pool...no *touring* necessary! Thank you so much for sharing your condo, what a gem. Beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and stocked with every item we needed. We hope to be back again.

THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL DECORATED UNIT ON THE GROUND FLOOR WHICH IS WHAT WE LOOKED FOR AS MY COMPANION HAS KNEE AND LEG PROBLEMS AND SHE CAN NOT DO STAIRS WELL. THE COMPLEX IS GREAT AND WELL MAINTAINED BY THE GROUND CREW AND ERIC THE MGR. THE BEDS WERE EXCELLENT FOR SLEEPING AND THE KITCHEN IS WELL EQUIPPED....WE HAD PROMPT REPLY FROM OWNERS WHEN WE BOOKED AND FOLLOW UP AFTER THE STAY...WE AGAIN WILL STAY THERE....VERY GOOD UNIT....

We've stayed at Lae Nani both times we've been to Kauai. Both times we were traveling with multiple families and the location was perfect. The grounds, the beach front location, the serenity, the pool and tennis court that never seems busy -- we love everything about this complex. This unit was particularly great to stay in. Very well equipped, friendly and helpful owners, a beautifully updated unit, ground floor location. We will definitely stay here again.

Great Location and Amenities - A reasonably priced 5 star property

Our Summary: The listing is accurate (i.e. pictures and description) and arguably understates the quality and amenities of this location. The property is clean and very well maintained. I would highly recommend this to friends, family or anyone else looking to stay at a great property on Kauai. 1) I had the privilege to meet the owners. They are very laid back, kind and generous people (i.e. who spent a solid 30 minutes with me discussing the property amenities and local eateries) with a genuine interest in making sure we enjoyed their property and made the most of our stay on Kauai. 2) The location on the island is superb, ideally located between Princeville (~30 mins by car), Poipu (20 mins) and Waimea Canyon Road (~60 minutes). The location on the property is very nice given it is a 3 minute walk to a protected salt pool and small reef that are pretty calm, which was ideal for our 2.5 year old toddler. The property is also a 7 minute walk to the Coconut Marketplace, which has Keiki (kids) hula dancing MWF at 5PM - our child really enjoyed this. 3) The amenities were perfect for a family of three with a 2.5 year old daughter who wanted to relax and casually explore the great island of Kauai. It is on the first floor and most items you need are already in the property (i.e. beach towels, snorkel kit for two with fins, sand toys, toddler life vest, toddler legos and children's books, coffee maker, large flat screen TV, dvd player with kid and adult DVDs, hawaiian CDs, free wifi, insect repellent, local things to do and where to eat guide, and much more....) 4) There are plenty of options for above average food in close proximity to the property. 1) Hukilau Lanai - a pricey option but very good food within a 10 minute walk. We would recommend the Poke Nachos and Opah (that night was delicious), 2) Fish Express in Lihue - fresh fish - try the spicy poke and the plate options and 3) Monico's Taqueria (good Mexican within a 5 minute walk). The last two options are more reasonably priced fare. We hope you enjoy this property as much as we did.

Every time we stay here you have made improvements where we didn't think possible. The condo is AWSOME. Activities were Black Beauty helicopter is the best we have had here, they take you into the crater, 9 line zip line in Princeville has excellent staff, not scary and they rent shoes for $5. of course golf at Princeville ocean view course is like nothing you could have experienced anywhere, with cocktails on the balcony to watch the sunset behind the mountains.The Dolfin further down the road is a local favorite restaurant. Fathom Five has beach dives with underwater scooters. Thank you again for such a wonderful vacation.

Thank you so mich for sharing your beautiful condo with us! It had everything we needed for a perfect family vacation! Your location is gorgeous and our kids loved swimming in the saltwater "baby pool" and playing in the waves. The ground-floor was so convenient and we had fun using the nearby BBQ and lanai for casual dinners. The condo was very well stocked with everything we needed (beach chairs, sand toys, coffee maker and even an electric teapot!). I hope we can come back sometime in the future. We have tons if great memories of our time at Lae Nani!

Our stay here could not have been more perfect. We are very thankful for the beautiful condo which is well equipped with all that we needed. Our first day we smiled when we found exactly 5 each towels (there are 5 of us), and 3 boogie boards (we have 3 daughters). We traveled the island, but the girls had the best time playing right here on our little beach. Right here at our beach is where we were lucky enough to swim with the sea turtles and watch a monk seal snooze his day away. David and I most enjoyed our daily 6:00 am yoga practice out on the sacred site adjacent to your beach. Sunrise is beautiful and very inspiring. What a wonderful surprise your home was to us! It is absolutely beautiful here. The boys body surfed and boogie boarded at our beach (out front) and swam in the wonderful pool. We were amazed at the changes on the beach with the movement of the sand. We had a wonderful, wonderful time and were so content just to stay at our own beach and pool and enjoy your home. Thank you for sharing your Kauai “Paradise Home” with our family. My father-in-law discovered your little piece of paradise last year when they were vacationing in Kauai. The told us how “wonderful” and “perfect” it would be for our family vacation. We heard the location was a dream come true. When we arrived, our six year old son was the first through the door followed by his grandfather. I heard his voice scream with so much JOY and HAPPINESS: “WOW, THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! It’s like “home” not a hotel… the backyard is HUGE and there’s the beach! It’s perfect. It’s so awesome. Are you sure this is where we’re staying?” When my husband and I saw your home, the location and ALL you have done to create such a comfortable paradise home, we were thankful and felt so blessed. We’ve been coming to this condo for about 6 years now and have nothing but great things to say about it. Our 4 ½ yr. old daughter has been coming since she was just an infant and has probably been here at least 8 times. The small rock pool has been the best for the kids, as well as the unique rivers and pools that form each day at the beach. The condo, the pool, and the grounds are equally beautiful. The cove has a wonderful calm swimming area for children and the beach around the point has great wave action for body surfing or is the perfect place for long walks. The mid-island location makes it easily accessible to anything you choose to do on Kauai. The short walk to the marketplace for shopping, a movie or lunch is a bonus. Thank you for a wonderful time!

My husband, myself and our four year old son spent our entire vacation stay here. The whimsy of the 2nd bedroom was appreciated. Will, our son, felt the need to open all the doors on the bird houses. After he asked 100 times, I finally said "Yes, if you can catch a bird outside you can put it in the white bird house in your room." Knowing he would never catch a bird ;) But he was happy to dream of having a bird in there. We enjoyed a relaxing time here with a lot of time spent in the ocean and the pool. The "Beach Closet" with toys was well used. I'm a bit waterlogged and we still have 2 days left. Weather was wonderful all days in the low 80's. We added some pieces of coral to your dish on the yellow chest in the living room. Thank you so much for te lovely memories of our first family vacation. Our state of Oregon is beautiful but your condo made us feel so much at home in another beautiful state.
