Cute newly-remodeled 2 bedroom / 2 bath 1100 sq ft home, located on a quiet street in the terrific neighborhood of Henderson Center. A one-block walk takes you to a quaint shopping hub of Eureka, where you can enjoy restaurants, shopping, a day spa, a farmer's market (seasonal), or your morning espresso at a great family-owned bakery. In this location, you are minutes from the ocean, Eureka’s famous Old Town and Waterfront, and the Sequoia Park Zoo. Great markets and restaurants are all within minutes from here.

Eureka is located approximately 230 miles north of San Francisco, and about 90 miles from the Oregon Border. You are about 40 miles north the Avenue of the Giants, and about the same distance south from Redwood National Park. As natives of Humboldt County, let us help you plan your itinerary.

Regular Events Include:
- Arts Alive -- More than 40 Eureka business as well as local galleries display local art to the public. Drinks and snacks are provided, as well as live music and performance art by musicians, jugglers, fire dancers and poets. First Saturday of the Month.

  • this house is fantastic. Super clean, spacious and the most comfortable beds one can hope for. Linens provided for with no extra charge. We went to the beach twice, the zoo, played tennis and went to the Avenue of the Giants. Overall a great week. I will recommend to anyone I know looking foe a place to stay

  • My friend and I are quilters, and rented this home for a little quilter's getaway. It was a wonderful experience! The house was immaculate, the rooms were spacious, and the beds were super comfy! I really enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, and checking out the stores at the Henderson Center. We hope to stay again soon!

  • This was our second visit to the Henderson Center Home and it was as pleasant as the first. Our kids live within walking distance and it's fun and convenient to be able to prepare a "home cooked" meal in the spacious kitchen. We already have plans to stay later in the year. Jim and Ronda are great hosts and make it easy to have a pleasant stay.

  • My husband is an HSU alumni, and we decited to try out the "Henderson Center" rental while visiting some old friends. The rental was great, and the price was right too! It was nicely decorated, fully stocked, and had an over-all at home vibe. We brought our four year old son too, and there were movies there for the whole family. The beds were very comfertable and the towels were very soft. Luckily, we got one warm day and one cold one, but the house was very easy to cool or heat and the fireplace left a nice glow in the evening without the hassel of building a fire! Everything you need is close including restaraunts, shopping, night life, and delivery too. I would definetly stay here again or recomend it to my friends:)

  • While visiting relatives in the area for the Thanksgiving weekend, our family of 4 had a delightful time enjoying the Henderson Center home as our "home." The home is easy to find, well-located, immaculate, well-decorated, and well-appointed. The two bedrooms are pleasant, cozy, and have comfy mattresses. The kitchen is spacious and sunny. The living room, with its thermostat controlled fireplace, is ideal for relaxing and reading. Also, the location is so quiet. We all got great nights sleep! The home is less than 2 blocks from the Henderson Center where we enjoyed morning pastries at a neighborhood bakery. The more adventurous can easily walk into "old town" Eureka and the waterfront area where there are all sorts of shops and eateries. This was a lucky find for us, and we will return often. Thank you for a nice addition to our Thanksgiving memories!
