  Spent Thanks Giving holidays with many families members all across US. The place felt very minimum amenities initially but was able to find everything needed to cook, play, firewood burning, and enjoy. The place was clean and well maintained. We had 5 families with 5 cars. Parking was a bit challenge with a single entry to the drive way but was not a big deal at all. I would rent this place again for our next family reunion.

  From first contact to the end of our week long stay at this house was awesome! The owner made it easy to reserve and pay and provided all the information we needed to prepare for our vacation. We were a group of (5) families with teenagers enjoying Tahoe before school started. The house keeper/manager was available anytime we called with questions and requests. Our large group had no problem fitting inside this house. From the outside the house looks average size but the inside was very roomy and comfortable. We all had somewhere to sit, sleep, hang out, etc. We ate dinner there every single night and breakfast most of the time. We brought (3 )plastic folding tables and put them on the long deck to eat most of our meals. Only one evening we ate inside because it was cold out. We watched movies in the large kiving room and played various games there too. There was dozens of great dvd movies provided.There was plenty of bathrooms for all of us and linens too. The huge game room has a pool table, tv, wet bar and music that we all used. The kitchen was fully stocked and has a large frig with ice maker. The laundry room has a brand new full size washer and dryer. Plenty of parking in garage in driveway with summer time unpaved parking on the side of property. The (2) master bedrooms were HUGE with comfy beds. The other 4 rooms were cozy with comfy beds. The game room also has a sofabed! Did I mention the large jucuzzi on the deck? The gas grill was set up for us to use along with our portable grill. We all really enjoyed this house and we spent lots of quality time together there when not doing all you can do in Tahoe. We were a five minute drive to the casinos and ten minutes to a few beaches. The grocery stores were close by. for us to get supplies.The house is located up the mountain and away from all the traffic and noise. There was plenty of streets to do our walks and enjoy the neighborhood. We didn't bring our dogs but the owner allows them I found out. In closing I want to thank the owner for taking such good care of us and for allowing us to stay in their beautiful house. We plan to do it again sometime.

  Quiet location, close to all South Shore has to offer! Spacious home with plenty of room to stretch out. Large master bedrooms, great game room and lovely deck area. Highly recommended!

  We had two families over Christmas at Shelly's wonderful house. When we got 20 inches of new snow it added to the fun for the skiers. When we called Shelly about getting out of the driveway, she contacted a man to come plow the snow out of the driveway. He was there in about 30 minutes, and came back the next morning to finish the job. But, we had all we needed and then some, and I would definitely recommend it for other visitors. The thing that attracted us was there are two master bedrooms and it is very close to Heavenly ski slopes and the casinos. So everyone was happy, including the two dogs, which was another reason we chose this house.

  The place was perfect for my boyfriend's surprise 30th birthday party...spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The house was large enough to host a weekend excursion for both family and friends. I really enjoyed the hot tub and I know my boyfriend enjoyed the game room and pool table (bar included). The key reason I chose this property over others was because it was dog friendly AND beautiful. You can tell the owner is a dog lover. Shelly was responsive to any questions and let me know exactly what to and what not to bring. I would love to come back to this property in the summer and enjoy the outside deck, BBQ, and nearby casinos.

  This well kept rental was perfect for 5 families making a weekend trip to the snow. The house was clean and cozy and the pictures online didn't do it justice. The living room and game room offered two options for gathering so adults and kids both felt like they had a great place to make themselves at home in the evenings. Home is not far from the South Lake and access to Safeway and other shopping not to mention the casinos was very easy. Sledding with the neighbors was definitely the highlight of our weekend. Owner was extremely easy to deal with. We booked our trip only a week or so before heading up there and she made sure we had everything we needed in time. Would definitely return to this house as well as recommend it to friends and family.

• Roomy!

  This house was nice and clean and much roomier than we expected. It's in a great location for long walks and is only 5 minutes from the casinos, Edgewood and the beach. We especially enjoyed congregating on the deck for long conversations. The owner was very helpful and responded very quickly with any questions we had. Overall, it turned out to be a perfect fit for our party of 16!

  Our family had a wonderful time at Shelly's great house, all was in order when we got there, beautifully clean. The kids loved the room upstairs with all of the videos, as well as the bunk beds. Plenty of room for all - so close to everything! We will be back!

  I am writing to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at your house in Tahoe. It was perfect for all of our needs and the little ones had a blast playing in the snow right out in front of the house without ever having to drive to a snow park. The weather was even perfect. So thank you again.
