What a great house! We went there for a family reunion and liked that the living/dining area was open plan style. We were able to spend time together and still keep an eye on the kids in the hot tub! Would love to come next year again!!

This nice large home has potential to be a lovely home with plenty of space and with sleeping accommodations for 10 to 12 people easily. Unfortunately our experience was less than we had hoped for and I can only presume it is due to inadequate or poor management. When we arrived 90 minutes after the home was suppose to be available we were greeted by a half finished cleaning crew. The entry way and carpets up the stairs to the main level were nothing but atrocious, they were horribly filthy and should be replaced immediately. We had to wash and dry our own towels as they were all soiled, there were cigarettes butts everywhere under the hot tub deck, the hot tubs water was green from algae growth and we had to wash any dish that we wanted to use as they were greasy and crusted with old food. We were told to enter the home by accessing a lock box which contained a key, this turned out incorrect. The only access was through a number coded punch key box on the garage which I am sure hasn't changed between rentals, so we had no security as I'm sure prior renters have used the same code. The home is attractive and has potential but certainly should be maintained better and have better security.

We had a great time here. It was clean and comfortable and suited our needs perfectly! It would be nice to have a few staples there such as salt and pepper etc. as it s helpful to not have to buy everything. Just a suggestion. Otherwise - great stay - great place!

This house looks nice on the pictures, but what a nightmare! We showed up to filthy carpet, dirty toilet, and my 6yr old even found a USED pair of women's underwear at the foot of the master bed. The only smoke detector on the middle floor was completely missing (only wires hanging from ceiling) - mind you this is the floor with the kitchen and fire place. It was later found tucked in a drawer. The smoke detector in the spare room upstairs was dangling from ceiling from wires with no battery. There were no soaps for laundry or dishwasher/sink provided even though, per contract, you are to wash load of towels and run dishwasher. Multiple lights did not work, no functioning lights on the back deck. Kitchen supplies are poor - teflon pans completely unusable and we were unable to cook our food while there because the Teflon was peeling off the bottom of the old pans. When the owner was confronted on all of these issues she was absolutely unsympathetic and totally non-accommodating. After my first call with concerns, she avoided all other contact with me. She was not even concerned about the non-functioning smoke detectors. We had to purchase batteries for smoke detectors to feel safe; owner wouldn't even come and replace for us after it was brought to her attention. Ironically, the next morning after being confronted, we had a mysterious woman parked outside the property looking through our windows through binoculars. Totally creepy. Please don't waste your vacation time/money on this nightmare.

We all had a great time at the cool breeze 1 property for three days. My parents came from Cali. & we're from wash. so we met in Depoe Bay, Org. The house was nice & the hot tub was nicer. Very relaxing even in the rain. We enjoyed the fire place but didn't get see a sunset because of the clouds & rain. The beds were cozy and the breeze was refreshing. We didn't find easy beach access but when we did reach a beach, the ocean was awsome. The home was just as discribed in the listing & the photos were accurate of the home and my deposit was returned quickly. We would love to return next year for more great times with family!!!

We stayed for a week in November. The house was very comfortable and fun. We really enjoyed the hot tub, even in the rain. The gas fireplace was so easy and cozy, just at the touch of a switch. We had some high winds while we were here and really enjoyed watching the surf come crashing in.

My group of 12 had a terrific stay at Cool Breeze I. Found the place just as in the photos, very clean, new, comfortable. Excellent bedding! Nice Hot tub. Short walk to the Depoe Bay marina. I would certainly recommend to others as a good possibility. (Deposit returned promptly, as well).

What a lovely home! We had a wonderful time. The process in reserving our space was very simple and our deposit was returned in a timely manner. Our only complaints were that there were no chairs on the deck to enjoy the view or visit with friends in the hot tub. We would definitely stay again!

Comment Text: We had a great time at 'A cool breeze I'. The house was great inside - had everything you could ask for. We thought the kitchen was well stocked and cooked a couple of meals at the house. The jacuzzi was terrific as well. The owners were very accomodating. We had an infant and needed a crib and high chair and they set one up for us and even brough over some toys for him to play with. The location of the house is great - half way between Lincoln City and Newport, so lots of things to see and do. Would definatly come back again. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this rental property. It was very clean with plenty of linens. The beds were very comfortable. The house was decorated nicely. The gas fireplace and hot tub were a great plus with the spring weather. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of glasses, wine glasses, bowls, and plates. The only thing that I would recommend is making sure that you bring needed cookware as the kitchen is only stocked with basic cookware and utensils. The kitchen was adequate for our stay as we only planned simple meals. I would not hesitate to stay at this rental property again!!

We stayed for a weekend in August. When looking for a great deal, I was hesitant because the price was so low...usually the quality the fares! It really was brand new in every sense of the word! We were informed it was new to the rental pool, but we didn't realize that everything would be new? The owners really paid attention to what we needed...and it was soo clean. The kids loved the bunk beds and that the rooms were next to ours. We loved the hot tub. The sunsets were amazing! Depoe Bay is so cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed the outings on foot, up and down the strips of stores that run along the ocean. Must I go on? This vacation was one of the best by far...we felt taken care of. We can't wait to go back! Enjoy your stay!
