My family and I had an unforgettable vacation at Monterey CC this year. The condo we rented was better than perfect -- it's location, amenities and comfort were well beyond anything we were expecting. Also, the management company was brilliant. Our contact Debra helped us with the check-in, check-out and happily answered any questions we called her about. Considering this was our first desert vacation, it was great to have such a friendly and knowledgeable company and rep to deal with. The choice of pools in the country club was also great, and the one near our rental was always empty, which the kids loved. Great walks too with our Jack Russell (the unit is pet friendly by the way!). Highly recommended! And thank you Debra!!

Good overall, clean and well located - rental agency did good job of sorting out any issues. Shortcomings/improvements: 1. broken door leading to master bathroom (4 years and still leaning off hinges 2. a few kitchen items missing - we bought a new griddle and left it there 3. BBQ on the patio has been 'propped up' and secured (no longer listing to one side) - but the grill is old and filthy - caked with grease.

Beautiful 2 bdr overlooking fairway at Monterey Country Club. Spacious and modern with vaulted ceilings. All amenities. Close to restaurants, shopping centers, downtown Palm Desert, and College of the Desert. Agents and owner extremely friendly, helpful and cooperative.

Golf trip

We had 8 guys that came to Palm Desert to play golf. Undoubtedly, with this many people coming in from so many areas, there had to be some issues. To our amazment, this was the best planned and orcestrated trip any of us could remember. The professionalism and attentiveness of the management company made us feel welcome and appreciated. Debra was amazing and took excellent care of us. The units (2) were clean and fully functional. We are planning our next trip already! Great Job and thanks for a warm and wonderful experience!

Desert Falls Condo

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this condo.It's central location in Palm desert was just off the tenth green and close to many other golf courses,shopping was 1/2 block away and there were lots restaurants within close proximity.The pool and hot tub were just down the stairs and the neighbors were incredibly friendly and accommodating.I used the free and very well equipped fitness center twice a day which was a short walk away.The condo was spacious and bright with WiFi,a couple of HDTV's,laundry room and all the other comforts of home.I will definitely come back and recommend it to my friends...

Gorgeous Condo

So excited when I opened the door to this beautiful 5 start property.Wow,it was so luxurious and elegant.I am a cook and the kitchen was designed for a chef.My husband is sports crazy and they didn't have a particular sports station so we called the management service(Debra) and within 1 hour we had the channel at no extra cost to us. The beds were a great size,tons of towels and kitchen utensils.Already booked for next year.I already miss it.Thank you again Debra as you are so warm and attentive.

I was so scared to book a condo online but I was really impressed with the management company(Debra)as she answered all my 100 questions and was so attentive to all my concerns and needs. The pictures didn't do this condo justice,it was beautiful and we didn't want to go home.Pure luxury.Everything we hoped for we got. We will be back next year Thank you so much Debra!

Perfect for families

We were blown away when we unlocked the front door and opened up to the gorgeous vaulted ceilings and spacious living area. The kitchen is top notch and so convenient. It had every little appliance we needed. We loved being right on the cart path and close to 2 different pools for daily walks with our two babies. The layout was ideal for creating a like-home environment for our getaway in the desert. We even had a couple friends stop by and comment how amazed they were at this place which totally made us feel like we made the best decision! Not to mention, Debra is extremely attentive and warm and accommodating. Enjoy!

I've stayed in this unit with friends twice now, and we had a great experience both times. The unit is much nicer than the pictures make it seem, with a beautiful view of the golf course and big patio. We had no problems with hot water as the review below mentions. Beds are comfortable, great kitchen, big living area, and a nice quiet pool. I would highly recommend this rental - we plan to come back in the future! Thanks Debra

WARNING rancid odors, stained filthy carpets and misrepresentation of condo

I am a flight attendant and travel quite extensively, and never have I had such an unpleasant experience as this one. My husband and I took my elderly parents to Palm Desert after the death of their beloved pet, to try and cheer them up. Do not trust the so-called "owner", listed as Debra. Please contact Monterey Country club management before renting from this so called "owner" who turned out to be deceptive and misrepresented the condition of the condo. When asked to fix the problems with the unit, such as the rancid smells and dirty barbecue, not effecient lighting, etc., the response from the so called "owner" listed, was unbelievable. Not only were they not going to fix any of the issues, they were certainly not going to refund us if we moved out, and said if we were to call back, they would file "harrassment" charges. Someone should investigate the validity of this "owner" and their business practices, as the management at the club said this person rents other properties that are in foreclosure. It was a horrible experience, and it ruined our vacation as we had to contact local authorities due to the harrasment by the so-called "owner", and leave a day earlier then what was rented. We never recieved a refund for leaving a day early, nor did we recieve any refund on the cleaning deposit. We left the condo in much better shape then what we found.

Owner response:This traveler not only got a beautiful condo on the golfcourse for a reduced rate but also wanted a FREE holiday as she felt she should get a full refund. Her only complaint about the condo was that it didn't have a hairdryer and she wanted brighter lighting. She also wanted ALL light bulbs changed to a brighter voltage. These were the the only problems she complained about. Also, Wendy could not figure out how to plug the phone cord into the computer as she explained she was "computer challenged" and it took 45 minutes for the manager to walk her through how to do this. She then proceeded to call the manager at 11:45pm at night to complain about the lighting and no blow dryer and wanted to be charged nothing for that night stay. The manager called the next morning to say that if the accommodations were not acceptable to her, we could check her out with a full refund. She decided to stay and proceeded leave 3 harassing messages a day. She was so aggressive that she went to Monterey Country Club Association to complain about not having a blowdryer (and to send someone to clean her barbecue?!). The Association said they couldn't believe what they were hearing and told the traveler to not come back to their office as her complains were petty. Even though she continued to complain, she only stayed in the property for two days -- she then left her elderly parents at the condo for an additional 4 days. If the condo was THAT unacceptable, why did she not check out? Why did she leave her parents there (who appear to have had a good experience, they did not call with any complaints)? No one at Monterey Country Club has said anything negative about this management company and the company always has return visitors. Monterey Country Clubs always recommends travelers to call this company. This traveler uses harassment to try to get a full refund for her holiday. I feel very sorry for the next people who encounter this problem tenant. This condo (and all other properties represented by this management company) is of the highest quality and continues to have very positive reviews on this VRBO page. All properties manged by this company have return visitors year on year and we are deeply saddened this individual continues to wage this campaign of lies and misrepresentation.

Wow I have stayed at a lot of places in Palm Desert but this has got to be the best one. It was like staying at a private resort. It was so quiet and peaceful and it had everything I could hope for. Beautifully furnished, very clean, fresh smelling, and organized, amazing view of the golf coarse, great lighting, easy 1 to 2 minute walk to Pool and Jacuzzi, and every other amenity I can have hoped for. The management was fantastic, very helpful and knowledgeable. i already have the condo booked for next year and i couldn't be more excited!

This is our second stay at this unit and we had another fabulous stay. The condo is bright, spacious, and exceptionally comfortable ( especially the king bed in master suite).We loved eating on the patio and watching the golfers ( being golfers ourselves, this was great). The Management(Debra)is extremely helpful and pay attention to the littlest details.Thank you again. We are looking forward to our return in 2012. Thanks again for a lovely stay.

while this unit is accessible by wheelchair and the space is very mangeable with lovely patio overlooking the golf coiurse.. there were several issues...there was no hot water in the second bathroom tub/shower so this unit is really only a 1 and a half bath unit. The manager for this unit was contacted but the problerm was not resolved. The cushions on the outside chairs are in terrible shape and need replacing The kitchen is functionable but poorly equipped compared to other units we have rented

Owner response:This unit is a 5 star unit and completely remodeled as the kitchen is fit for a chef.There were NO issues with this unit.This renter tried to email the manager that she wanted a price break as she obviously couldn't afford the unit.This was a VERY difficult renter (plumber had to come back to the unit twice because she couldn't figure out how to use the shower)that needs to book into Motel 6 and not a beautiful unit completely remodeled on the golf course.

The condo was impeccable in every way. Location is excellent, easy access to everything but also quiet and private. The pool and jacuzzi were terrific and clean and only a minute walk,so convenient , view over the golf course was private and calming. Excellent experience and I would happily come again especially since they accept dogs:).

The pictures really don't do this condo justice as it was gorgeous,clean,and had everything we needed. I actually needed a electric tea kettle and management brought it to. What fantastic service. My family doesn't golf but we loved our patio as it was on the golf course.We loved this condo.

Beautiful unit, with plenty of room for our family. The condo was well-maintained and well-stocked, with a lovely patio on the golf course. Having high-speed Internet was a nice bonus as well. Also, we couldn't have asked for a better location: just minutes from all the restaurants and high-end stores on El Paseo. (The Living Zoo was fun, too:). Will be back -- hope it's available :).

This was such a beautiful clean remodeled unit.Better than the pictures.The view was amazing and I felt so comfortable and at home.Loved the amenities it offered and on the golf course what a plus.I will definitely be booking again
