We rented 4 vacation homes for our church group from Nebraska while attending the Tulsa Workshop. Janet was so accommodating. The house was well maintained and very comfortable. Very nice, quiet neighborhood close to many of the activities of Tulsa. The house is large and was able to accommodate an extended family of 9. The owners are available to help you with any needs you may have beforehand or during your stay. Thanks for a great stay!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. Charming decor and very relaxing. We brought our minature schnauzer mix -- the fenced in back yard was great. We loved having 2 living rooms. This is a great place for families to reconnect and have fun. We spent some time at Woodland Hills Mall and also watched a movie at Admiral Twin Drive-In Theatre. We hope to come back next summer.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

It was nice to have somewhere the dogs could get in from the heat, as we have larger dogs, and the backyard was beautiful with shade and a wooden privacy fence so our dogs were safe. There was a ton of storage in the house compared to ours so we liked that. We played the Star Wars Life game (was in a cabinet there) and not having to count money with two children under 9 was great! The big back wndows overlooking the backyard were nice too as the kids went out and played in a sprinkler so we could watch them from the house. Plus we were able to arrange another night as our friends' (3) from Alva came to visit and there was plenty of room. The only downside was that the place wasn't as clean as I'd like (stuff stuck on the kitchen counters, hair on the wall in the small bathroom, and pink stains on the carpet in the bedroom) but for the price, the place was a steal and the small cleanliness issues we could either fix ourselves or overlook!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Guest feedback is very much appreciated. It helps us to address issues, such as more attention to detail when cleaning. The pink stains on the carpet will NOT come out. We plan to remove the bedroom carpets and refinish the hardwood floors. We have done that in the living and dining area. The house is so popular with repeat guests, we have not had a good window of time to accomplish this yet.

My family stayed in this home during the weekend before Christmas to celebrate with family in Tulsa. We very much enjoyed the space in the home, the entertainment living room in the back of the house was very nice for relaxing and watching movies. The kitchen was well equipped. We especially liked the spacious bedrooms! The rooms were definitely large enough for my 3 children and each of their friends to spread out and have fun. The property was clean and well-maintained. The photos do not do the property justice. It was even better than expected. I think my teens' FAVORITE part of the house.................The CHALKBOARD on the kitchen pantry door!!!!! They had a blast writing messages to one another and drawing on the door, even at 12, 14, and 16. My little schnauzer had a great time exploring the big back yard as well. This was a great Christmas weekend. I'm sure we will be back this summer to take advantage of the big water park down the street and explore the Promenade mall when it is not so crowded!Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Thank you Janet and Mark, we all appreciated our stay in Tulsa. Your house is so comfortable for our riders and families. Thanksgiving was very special for all, the families that came such a long way and stayed in hotels really appreciated having home cooked meals with us......we enjoyed our time and had one team member win first place, Zack Fisher 7 year old. Way to go Zack. All the boys road like the wind.....we love our home away from home in Tulsa...see you next year....Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Expo Square home. The photos did not do the property justice, it was larger and more quaint than we had ever imagined. Would love to return when we can plan to cook and take advantage of the backyard! Great for a large crowd. This was an all together wonderful trip and experience. For a great steak dinner try the Silver Flame (it never disappoints)! Thanks to Janet and Mark for making our 25th wedding anniversary party so comfortable!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a lovely stay at this property for Spring Break. My husband, kids and I along with my brother-in-law shared this house. We had plenty of room to spread out and relax. My husband and brother-in-law especially enjoyed the covered patio, BBQ grill, and the outdoor fire place. The kids and I loved the den with the BIG TV and wi-fi! My son brought his xbox 360 and we were able to watch Neflix movies. We enjoyed a day at the zoo and the Air/Space museum and planetarium which were only about 10 minutes away. We also enjoyed shopping at the Promenade mall which was just a few miles away. The highlight of the trip was dinner at Jazzmo's where we ate alligator bites, BBQ shimp, and blackened catfish. I would definitely recommend this property to blended families looking for a spacious and centrally located oasis in the heart of Tulsa!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

About the owner: Mark and Janet Mobbs are very proud of their city and feel Tulsa has a lot to offer as a place to live, work or visit. They are more than happy to make suggestions for and give directions to the many attractions in and around Tulsa
Why the Owner Chose Tulsa:
The home is located near the Expo Square Quik Trip center which hosts over 400 events a year, We own and operate a bed and breakfast located nearby, Inn at Woodward Park. It has been quite successful. In fact, we found that we had to turn away visitors that wanted extended stays or were traveling in a group, or with children and pets. That is what led us to purchase this short-term rental.
Our goal is to provide guests with unique lodging options where they can experience a real taste of Tulsa. We hope you find that here.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
With two living areas and a covered patio this mid century modern home is great for families and entertaining. Located near Big Splash water park, Fair Meadows horse racing in season and Tulsa Drillers baseball park; there are activities to enjoy. Several shopping areas and dining areas are located in the general vicinty.
