Almond Beach House Too, is located at the east end of Spot Bay, a quiet community that assures you peace and tranquility in a beautiful tropical setting. From the back of our home, it is 30 or so paces to the ocean's edge where you will find a white sand beach providing access to pristine turquoise waters fading to a deep blue only a hundred yards further out. Included are large beach chairs and chaise lounges for your beach front relaxation and a shaded cabana, twenty feet from the waters edge. Snorkeling and fishing are great here due to the abundant sea life. I generally y catch 1 or 2 snapper with squid bait each evening, right out back and put them on the grill for a tasty dinner. If lobster is your thing, bring a water-proof flashlight and go across the street to the locally owned restaurant. They will be more than happy to tell you how to catch them. The average weight for lobster is about 6 POUNDS. YUMMY!
Across the street is a limestone and volcanic rock wall that rises 135 feet straight up with a few caves thrown in here and there. Don't miss that! Make sure you make the hike to the very east end of the Island to the big rocks for a dramatic view and to see where the Caymanian men used to dive off the rocks in their courtship rituals.
If you want to let your hair down and make a little noise at night, music, dancing on the deck, or just staying up late with friends or family, then feel free, the locals never seem to mind.
