Though we were only able to stay for one night, we were thoroughly impressed with this gorgeous property! The chalet was decorated beautifully and looked brand new! There were lots of extra special touches, and Vicky and Fritz were so welcoming and helpful! You can't go wrong staying here!

This review is coming is a bit late, but it is one that we wish to make available to others looking for an exellent place to relax and enjoy the Kenny Lake area. In the late summer of 2010, after more than five weeks of travel from our home in central Illinois, through Canada, and on almost every mile of road in Alaska, my wife and I were hoping to find a nice place to spend a few days relaxing before beginning our long drive home. We found Kenny Lake Chalet on VRBO and it proved to be a great find. The chalet was perfect in every way; the owners made sure our stay was great; the location was perfect for day-trips in the area; and our evenings were spent cooking fresh-caught salmon on the open firepit near the chalet. Great area; great chalet; and most important, very nice people.

Many thanks to our great hosts! WE were able to take the snow machines and hit some trails in the area. Plenty of wildlife to see down the Copper River Trail, and the scenery alone is well worth the trip! We certainly hope to make it back soon.

We throughly enjoyed our stay here. Vicky & Fritz are amazing prople which made out stay even more pleasant and memorable. They added a whole new meaning to our Alaskan visit. I have never felt so much at home in any other cottages we have rented in U.S. Thank you so much for your hospitality. My mother and husband also wanted to Thank You from the core of their hearts. Will be back in winter.

Thanks so much. The kids enjoyed the swing, frog hunting and simply running free, enough that they needed a rest in the grass! We all enjoyed the "little fire" and smores.

We just returned from a 3 day stay at the Kenny Lake Chalet. What a beautiful place to visit! Our accommodations were warm and cozy, and had all the comforts of home. We enjoyed snowmobileing, hiking, shopping, and sleding. The view of the Chugach mountains is beautiful, and right outside the front windows. The birds on the front porch were delightful to feed and watch. The owners were very friendly and fun to get to know. We definitely woud return again for another vacation!
