This home is 20 feet from the water's edge. You just walk out and jump in! There is deep water at the dock and you can water ski, wake board, etc. right in front of the house all the way out to the large section of the lake. You can also just lounge in the water as the house is on the point of a cove and there is a no wake policy after you pass the dock going into the cove....moreless

Our family had a wonderful time at this cabin. The cabin and amenities were better than described and we could not have had better weather. The inside of the cabin was immaculate with plenty of space for our family of 9. The exterior deck is perfect for waking up with breakfast and winding down after a day on the lake. The distance from the house to the dock is a very short distance and gently sloped, which is unlike many properties with steep slopes to the lake. We look forward to a future visit.

Owner response: Thank you so much. So glad you had a good time and look forward to your return.
I had such a great time at this lake side cabin! It truly was a great experience. The location couldn't have been better, the view was impeccable, and the lodging was quaint. Everything we needed was here! I've been to many lake houses in the past, and most all of them seem to have one or two things about them that make the entire experience a bit sub-par. Here however, it felt like I was truly at home. I could stay here the entire summer!

Excellent location and condition, very relaxing time at the lake. The home was better than what we expected, it had everything that you would need for a get a way. This was a log cabin exterior, huge deck all the way around the 2nd level with a full wall of glass over looking the lake with great view, the fireplace was cozy. We hope to come back.

Great vacation spot
Great vacation spot
This house was clean, well maintained, and worked well for us. It is well stocked as described with everything but linens, we had a total of 7 bath towels and 3 wash cloths and hand towels for 10 people. This could have been an error on the part of whoever cleans & stocks the house. We were able to use some lake towels and wash them so it worked out. There are lots of places to hike, waterfalls to see and this lake is very clean. Not a house for privacy if you are looking for that, it's in a cul de sac community with about a dozen look alike houses very close together. We rented a boat from Lake Keowee Marina as the nearest marina does not rent to anyone not staying in the RV park.

This was our 3rd time renting and have already started looking forward to renting again next summer! We visited in June- although hotter weather than usual- we stayed very cool in the house. We experienced no problems with the A.C.- thank goodness as we have children who are accustomed to cool night temps for sleep. We loved the multiple conveniences: the easy walk to the covered dock; the 5 minute boat ride to the nearest gas pump; the fact that Seneca recycled almost everything- which made us feel very GREEN to say the least. We cannot wait for next summer!

The Perfect Lake Experience
The Perfect Lake Experience
Our family rented this amazing house!!!! We enjoyed the quiet surroundings and loved being right on the lake. The Dock is huge with enough room to hang out with your group. The front deck overlooking the lake has a veiw that takes your breath away. The sleeping arrangements were very nice we all had privacy and felt very pampered. Our family loves to play games and the large open areas on the main floor as well as down stairs were perfect. If you are looking for a lake property to rent this is a great value. We plan to visit every summer for at least 2 weeks. We enjoyed working with the property owners, they deliverd on everything they promised, I would now consider them friends.

We stayed for 3 nights in May and while the home was nice there was one major problem. Because of the large windows the home gets very hot. We brought our 3 little children with us and every evening my little boys would say to me "Daddy it's to hot." I went to cut the air conditioner lower but the air conditioning had a temperature lock on it. Which means if the lock was 72 degrees then you couldn't set the temperature at 70 degrees....no matter how uncomfortable you were. I contacted the owner after one miserable night and she told me she didn't think the person who could check on the AC would want to come on a weekend, but she would try. No one ever came and we stayed out of this home as long as we could until evening. Nice looking home but it wasn't much fun when we had trouble sleeping every night and the owner wasn't able/willing to find a way to help us.

Owner response: Actually, Bob stayed with us in April, not May for 3 nights (thurs-sat) I did look up the weather and saw that it was 44 degrees the previous night and going to be 42 degrees Fahrenheit for the next two nights and suggested that he open the windows which would make it not only cool, but cold. He did not want to open the windows in the bedroom or any of the other rooms which would have made the house very cool. We do make every effort to make sure our guests are comfortable, but were perplexed at why they could not get cool enough at night when it was so cold outside.
We stayed at this house in July and had a great time. The house is beautiful and easily accommodated 10 of us without any difficulty. It is also right on the water with a covered dock. During July, one of the busiest months on the lake, we always had smooth water for skiing or doing whatever we wanted. We will definitely be coming back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very clean lake house. Everything you need is readily available. Loved the location in a very large, deep water cove. Plenty of room for two families. Hope to be back next summer.
