This beautiful new Villa is located on a quiet cul-de-sac in Villa Portofino, a charming old-world Tuscan style gated community.

A spacious 1,900 square feet,this home is constructed with meticulous attention to architectural design, using the highest quality materials. Comfort and elegance is key, with granite slab and travertine, fine woods and fabrics throughout.

Villa Portofino is in the western section of Palm Desert, bordering on Rancho Mirage, and is conveniently central to some of our favorite shops and restaurants. Your home away from home is located less than one mile from Bristol Farms gourmet market and Sherman's scrumptious delicatessen. Of course, the shopping mecca of Palm Springs is just a 5 minute drive up the road.

The Villa Portofino community revolves around the CLubhouse, where friendliness and warmth prevail as residents enjoy aquatic classes, game nights, gourmet dining, an on-site theatre, and a host of planned activities.

The Clubhouse is an easy five minute walk from your home, yet when you close your own doors, you will enjoy a sense of quiet privacy and an easy flow from indoor to outdoor living via French doors onto your 700 square foot covered patio.

Your lovingly maintained unit contains Berber carpet, high ceilings, arches and niches, ceiling fans, large walk-in closets, and a wet bar with granite counter top in the den. The spacious kitchen is well laid out and includes a breakfast nook under bay windows as well as counter seating and barstool. Nearly every room contains maple shelving , imported finishes, stone columns, and recessed and under-cabinet lighting. The washer and dryer are located inside the unit in a generously sized laundry room. The large Master Bath is equipped with double sinks, a large bathtub and shower, and plenty of storage. The second bathroom is pretty enough to please any guest while serving all the needs of the second bedroom.

The furniture in this unit is all brand-new and quite lovely. We have paid great attention to interior decorating to impart a sense of luxury and elegance. The bed furnishings, linens and towels are the same quality you would expect to find in a fine European boutique 5 Star-rated Relais or Chateau.

We take great pride in our ownership of this property and it shows. We have prepared this get-away to please the most discriminating guest, and it reflects our own standard of living in Santa Barbara, where we live year-round.
