We stayed while visiting Sedona/Flagstaff/Grand Canyon/Snowbowl. The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed having the fireplace, watching a few of the DVDs, and playing cards at the large table in the kitchen area. Our party of 6 adults all had a good nights sleep as all the beds were comfortable. We had dinner at the Lumberyard Brewpub in Flagstaff and even bought a few bottles to enjoy while relaxing and watching the fireplace. It was only a short drive after dinner to get to the home. I would definitely recommend this place and we talked about how nice it would be to rent again during the summer to take in the outdoor patio area and enjoy the fresh air and clear sky at night. We made every effort to leave it exactly as we found it. It helped to have the recycling bins when cleaning upon departure. Tim - thanks for sharing your home.

My family got together in Phoenix from all over the country for a Grand Canyon trip. The house was great and Tim was a lot of help with the planning. The home was very comfortable, and the location was perfect as a halfway point. All (7) of us really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to anyone. Kelly

Loved the home! It was very clean and fully stocked with everything we could ever possibly need. We loved the location of the home - very close to downtown Flagstaff, while being far enough away in a quiet and cozy neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again!
Owner response:Surrounded by 60 ft trees in a quiet & safe neighborhood, you're only minutes from town...head out to dinner and have a menu in your hand 20 minutes from the doorstep - parking and walking included.

We took our four dogs, my 91 year old mother and had my son stay with us. The house was well stocked had everything we needed and a great back yard for the dogs. The dining table was perfect for games and the bedrooms were great. Can't wait to come up in the summer and sit in the backyard and watch the stars at night. Wonderful experience.

We took a very last minute trip, to escape the long, hot Phoenix summer! Tim was very easy to work with, very accommodating and quick to respond. The house is even better than the photos depict. It is roomy and a good layout. He has included many conveniences that one would need for a stay there. He has a stocked pantry if one would need, spices, lots of pillows, sheets and towels. Plus shampoo, lotion, etc. He even left us a bottle of wine to enjoy (which we didn't end up drinking after all) :) We really enjoyed our short stay, and had 4 kids under the age of 5 plus a dog and 4 adults and felt like there was more than enough room. Lots of backyard space for the kids to run around, lots of dvds, plenty of room to dine together. Kachina Village is just 7 miles from Flagstaff, and it is a quiet area with lots of big, beautiful pine trees. Right off the freeway is a huge park with lots of swings and areas to play which was perfect for us. Thanks Tim!!
Owner response:I love last minute drop-ins like Shannon - she said her husband is a firefighter, so I gave them a good discount and let them stay until the afternoon as no one was coming in the next day. Raymond Park - which was just completely re-done last year - is just a short walk (or drive) down the hill and across the meadow. I'm glad to hear it was enjoyed. I'm changing to fall rates as of Sept. 15th: $125/weeknights and $175/weekends. It's a great time to come up and see the Aspens change and enjoy the fall in the high country for a great price.

We spent 4 nights in Flagstaff at Tim's house and it was absolutely fantastic! It was a great way to end our whirlwind tour of the west. Our family of 6 was very comfortable there and after staying in some very small rooms, we felt like we were staying in a mansion with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms! It was clean and quiet and we enjoyed everything about it. I loved that we could do laundry and cook there. It was close to Sedona and some other places that we wanted to visit. Tim was very welcoming and easy to work with. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone traveling through the area!!!

A simply beautiful experience. We could easily have stayed a loooong time. Thanks for all the amenities, Tim.
Owner response:As this review alludes, you don't need to bring anything but your personals and a desire to have fun and relax "back at home" when you finish your day of exploring. If you don't go out some days, you get to hang around the house relaxing on the patio, playing with your dog or throwing some horseshoes in the back yard and grilling on the Weber. You can sit on the covered front porch and watch the summer "Monsoons" -- gorgeous, powerful lightning-filled thunderstorms that come bringing much needed moisture in July and August. Come visit!

Our stay at Tim’s place this last Thanksgiving was outstanding, all the comforts of home in a very warm and relaxing living space. While the temperature hovered near zero outside, we stayed cozy with just a modest fire in the wood-burning stove. And the challenge of cooking T-day dinner was eased by the well-stocked kitchen and full compliment of modern appliances. The dogs appreciated the large fenced backyard but the snow and cold seriously diminished the draw of the horseshoe pits (next summer for sure). I have no hesitation in recommending Tim’s place to any and all who want to breath in some northern Arizona high-country.

Thanks so much Tim, we really enjoyed our stay in your home. It felt as though we were staying at a friend's or family members home as opposed to a sterile rental environment. Everything was very user friendly, from finding extra towels to paper products. As I said when we rented, this was to be our base for our family's "Genealogy Week" and it served us well. It was within easy driving distance for Phoenix and Williams, both of which we needed to visit on our search for ancestors. Also, the Cline Library at NAU was a valuable resource we didn't find out about until we were there and it's just 4 to 5 miles from your house! We would certainly recommend your home to anyone. Thanks again...Tari, Southern California
Owner response:It really makes me feel good to read these responses. I want everyone to feel at home, have everything they need - and more - for a pleasant stay, and feel like they've made a great choice staying here. Everyone has treated the place well, and I've never had any but good comments from the neighbors about my guests. That's VERY important to me. It's a great residential neighborhood - not party central - but gatherings of friends and family get-togethers for BBQ and other events are always welcome. Thank you for your kind words.

Stayed September 3rd to 6th . After a week in Vegas (not our scene). What a wonderful place to move on to. Very well maintained, stocked and clean. Our only dissapointment was we should have done a week here and a weekend in Vegas. Would thoroughly recommend to anybody wanting busy sight seeing days and peaceful nights. Owner response:Thanks - I want everyone to feel like they're at home, or visiting a good friend's home.

This was a great place to stay! The comforts of home and plenty of room for the kids. Nice back yard with a patio table and grill (which we used!) Really the best things about Tim's house is that it is close to the airport in Flagstaff, about 1.5 (plus or minus) hours from the Grand Canyon and 30 minutes or so from Sedona. You can see alot of the area from this great location in Flagstaff.

We found this property magical when we arrived after a long drive, it has the most soothing atmosphere thanks to all the lovely things the owner has and the beautiful trees surrounding the property. Our two boys aged 15 and 13 thought their bedrooms were charming. Everything you could need is supplied - even a bottle of wine! The owner has been very efficient and helpful in all dealings and we would not hesitate to stay again if we were in that area, it was also an excellent base for exploring the area.

We had a wonderful time at this home for the long July 4th weekend. The home is nicely decorated, clean, well stocked in the kitchen as far as needs (except a larger skillet for the stove would be nice. :-)), and a very quiet neighborhood. We spent a lot of time on the patio so more chairs would be great and we used the extra 2 from the from porch since we had 6 adults and a child. We loved all the pine trees and the horseshoes we a fun activity! Very quick drive into Flagstaff and not far from Walnut Canyon which we also enjoyed while there. I would definitely stay here again and am already looking at another trip this year! Thank you so much for sharing your homw with us.

This was our first trip to the Flagstaff area and it was great to have this welcoming home to return to after a long day of sightseeing! The house was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The location was ideal-- far enough outside of Flagstaff to feel like a vacation home in the mountains, yet convenient to the town and surrounding areas. Our two dogs loved the backyard and we enjoyed relaxing on the patio. Tim was very easy to work with and we would definitely return to this home and highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to this area.

Tim, Just a quick note to say thanks for the great house, hospitality & information on the local area. Have left you a little bit of Australia in the form of Bundaberg Rum. It's not much, but if you like spirits, this is lovely - either straight with a couple cubes of ice, or with Coke. Once again thank you for the house, advice & hospitality. Cheers, Mate

Tim was able to quickly and efficiently accommodate our last minute plans to escape the valley heat. The house is attractively and comfortably furnished and the location is great--easy access to outdoor activities and Flagstaff. We brought our dogs, and they loved the spacious back yard. Refunds of the security and partial cleaning deposit occurred quickly. We'll definitely stay here again.

I was referred to this house as a getaway while in Arizona and am glad for it. It's a very comfortable house to be in. I use it for access to the Grand Canyon, Sedona, and other sights in the area. Tim helps us very well when we want to vacation or just take a short break in the Flagstaff area. Anybody looking for a cool break from the Phoenix area should contact Tim.

I have stayed at this house a number of times over the last few years and can honestly say it is a clean, comfortable, and convenient place for any visitor to the Flagstaff area, as well as being a good base for venturing on many beautiful day trips to Grand Canyon, Sedona, and the Mogollon Rim (Payson, Strawberry, Jerome, etc.). Nice quiet place to stay among the pines, yet just a few minutes to downtown Flagstaff. The owner is extremely easy to work with and does the "extras" to make your stay memorable. Thanks, Tim Bill

FROM THE HOUSE GUESTBOOK: I just wanted to thank you for letting us enjoy your home...we had a great time. My son's graduation was wonderful and he was really happy that all of his family was there to enjoy it. We really enjoyed the beautiful snow fall Saturday night and Sunday morning. I'm sorry that I had to call you regarding the locked door, that was not a very smart thing to do on my part! I hope that you found your home in the condition that you had given it to us in. I would have done the laundry for you but there was not enough time. Again, thank you for letting us rent your home, it was a wonderful place to stay...it was just like home. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Demma
