This is the premier one bedroom condo at Kauhale Makai measured in terms of view, decor and amenities!
When you first step into your vacation condo you are immediately struck by the clean bright layout. Your eyes are drawn to the lanai (balcony) with its table and chairs; perfect for leisurely meals or just sitting and contemplating the gorgeous ocean views (See photo on the left.). Whales are seen almost every day in season.
The rest of the condo is equally attractive, with high quality furniture, bright floor to ceiling mirrors in the living room and new stainless steel kitchen appliances, new high end kitchen cabinets and granite counter tops.
Beautiful Hawaiian art covers the walls. Many of the pieces are originals.
When you leave your condo the newly renovated pool awaits you as does the beach in front of the condo which is 6 miles long (There are 3 detours around hotels at high tide.). Other amenities on site are a children's wading pool, a hot tub, a putting green, two shuffle boards and a volley ball court. There are public tennis courts adjacent to the property.
In the evenings when you are finished touring, walking on the beaches, snorkeling or just lazing around the pool you can watch some TV on the 41" TV with cable. Want to use the Internet? It's free and it's high speed cable. Don't forget to BBQ down by the pool in the evenings. It's a favorite gathering place with the friendliest people in the world!
You will take in many awe inspiring sites on Maui after which you will be a convert to "Maui no ka oi". "Maui is the best!"
This condo is in pristine condition. It was renovated in 2008 using high quality material and workmanship. Some of the highlights not mentioned above are:
1. The couch in the living room makes into a comfortable queen size bed with an extra thick mattress.
2. New high end tiles throughout, including the lanai (balcony);
3. Mirrored main wall and closet doors;
4. King sized bed in the bedroom along with mirrored closet doors, a dresser and a 23" TV. There is also a sliding glass door to the lanai.
5. The bathroom has a new vanity with a granite counter top. The shower is tiled and is huge and comes complete with a security grab bar.
6. There are many beach items provided such as a cooler, beach chairs, snorkel equipment, and beach mats.

We did some metal detecting which was enjoyable. The TV and desk are very nice as is everything else. The pineapple bed posts and shell lamps are cute. The view is great. The shower was great as we have bad knees and it is difficult to get into a tub. Mahalo & Aloha."

After a check of the building we found out that they were burning the sugar cane fields. We had spectacular snorkeling at Ulua Beach, mile 14 on the way to Lahaina and Black Rock at Kaanapali. EZlinks dot com gives some good rates for golf. We called the company and they came in and replaced the modem. Thank you so much for the use of your wonderful condo."
