Absolutely beautiful view of the ocean. You can wake up and watch the sunrise while having your morning coffee on the large 85 foot long balcony (500 sq. ft. total) and watch the fabulous sunset in the evening. You can see for miles in either direction without any obstructions.
This condo is on the 8th floor and is on the east end of the building. The west end of the balcony overlooks the 2 outdoor pools and you can see the Pink Pony and further.
The east end has a great view of the very long peer at the State Park and continues on. You can also see Lake Shelby and the city of Gulf Shores from the front. This is definitely a must see to believe!!
You can watch the dolphins swim from the balcony when they are around. You can walk out on the balcony from the living room, master bedroom and one of the two guest bedroom. Listen to the waves at night while sleeping.
The master bedroom has its own private jacuzzi and walk in shower. Each bedroom has its own private bath. It is so peaceful and relaxing.
There are also 9 professional golf courses in the area and the golfing is great year round. I hope you will enjoy your stay with us.

Why the Owner Chose Lighthouse Condominiums
We have been coming to Gulf Shores for 21 years and used to stay at the old Lighthouse before it was torn down and the new one built. The people are so friendly in Gulf Shores and the pace is nice and easy which is why we plan on retiring here in the future.

We just returned from 5 amazing nights at this unit and, to put it simply, we were amazed! The space was terrific, the view unsurpassed and the size of the full 85 foot deck was beyond anything i had ever encountered when renting a beach condo. Considering that our family has rented beach properties in Destin, St. Augustine, Cape Cod, Gulf Shores, St. Jospeh (Lake Michigan) and Myrtle Beach, that says a lot!!!! The swimming pools were exceptional--especially for our twin almost 3 year old boys-- and the beach was so close to the unit that we could, literally, run up for more water or a snack without any problem. We love Gulf Shores, anyway, but Barb offered some ideas for both food and entertainment, and we were not disappointed. By the way, we strongly recommend Bahama Bobs for excellent seafood!!! Anyway, thanks Barb for a terrific week and a wonderful location...we will return!!!

Thank you Barb for sharing your place with us for a week. Our family of 6 had an amazing time. The open floor plan of the kitchen living area gave lots of room so we weren't crowded and the three bathrooms came in very handy as well. The balcony and all of the windows were definitely the highlight of the room! The breeze that comes from the corner room and the sounds of the ocean were wonderful. Amazing views that make you feel like you are right on the water. We have only been home for a few hours and are already missing it!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We decided to come down to Gulf Shores to help the economy and see how the beaches were. This unit is outstanding. Barb was very easy to work with. The balcony really makes this unit stand out. You have fantastic views up and down the coast along with being able to walk around the end and look out to the inland side of the complex. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the furnishings were all in good shape and working. The beaches were absolutely great. We swam and walked the beach every day. The location of this building is also great since you are so close to restaurants, stores and the pier. If we are ever back in the area, we would definitely see if this unit is available.

We just returned home from our fabulous trip to your condo in Gulf Shores. Lighthouse is the nicest condo we have stayed in yet and we LOVED the balcony! The family is already trying to schedule a weekend in May 2010 that we can return. We will definitely contact you first! Thanks again for providing my family(9 and 6 year old daughters and a 5 month old son that loves water already!) with an unforgettable vacation!
