Our luxury home is accessed right off the mountain from your own private deck!

SUMMER SEASON HIGHLIGHTS = Our home is just steps from the mountain village with gift shops, restaurants and the community pool, spa and fitness facility. Summer activities are plentiful with miniature golf, alpine slides, bungee jumping, kids bounce-house, scenic chairlift rides, mountain biking, horseback riding, etc. In July and August the resort hosts the annual Music in the Mountains Festival with an amazing variety of music from the best musicians in the world. The fun is unlimited and no location is better to be in the heart of the action!
Inside our nearly 3000 square foot Elkpoint tri-level home, no detail has been spared in our professionally decorated, upscale home. The 4 bedroom + huge bonus room & 4 bathroom layout is well designed with sleeping accommodations and bathrooms on each of the 3 levels.
The first level has a private oversized single-car garage with ski racks and sleds for our guests to use. In addition, there is a large bonus/game room with sofa (with Queen sleeper pull-out), TV, game table, foosball and full bathroom ... This room is a perfect place for kids to hang out, play games and relax away from the parents!
The second level is the main living and dining area with plenty of room to eat, lounge fireside and watch the outdoor mountain activities through the 18-foot soaring windows. This area of the home is an entertainer's delight with an open floorplan that includes a full-size gourmet kitchen, dining table, comfy swivel rockers plus plenty of other seating. In addition, there are 2 bedrooms on this level (1 room with Cal King bed & private balcony and the other room with 2 Full beds) and another full bathroom.
On the third level you will find another full bathroom, bedroom (with bunkbed - Full on top/Queen on bottom) and the Master Suite. The Master Suite will welcome you to relax in the Cal King bed while watching TV or reading a book, while the bedside fireplace keeps you warm and toasty. Indulge yourself in the Master bathroom complete with spacious walk-in closet, 2 sinks and oversized jacuzzi tub!
PLEASE NOTE = We are a definite NO SMOKING and NO PETS home. This means anywhere on premises (no smoking & no pets either inside home/garage or outside porch/deck).
To sum up our home, a recent guest left us a note saying, "This place is fabulous! We had so much fun and slept like babies. We can't think of a more lovely home that we have ever stayed at. What a gorgeous location - truly unbelievable! We can't wait to come back again next year!".

Hi Tonya, We enjoyed our stay immensely. Your home is absolutely beautiful and a great location. The condo was very nicely decorated and we all thought it very cozy and warm. I am saving your contact info so we can stay there in the future and to pass on to others. We LOVED the abundance of big fluffy towels! (One doesn't usually find that.) Also the kitchen was stocked very well with a lot of plates, silverware and a wide assortment of pots and pans. Just can't tell you how much we like the place! Thanks again. Jackie

Tonya - It is snowing here in Texas today and it reminded me of my wonderful ski trip and I wanted to write and let you know the our Elk Point vacation was fabulous !! There was plenty of room for everyone, the kitchen was fully supplied with every piece of equipment you could possible imagine. The beds were very comfortable, we loved the Christmas tree, the kids loved the sleds, we felt like we were in our own homes. Being able to ski right to the back door was fantastic. The only thing we wished was that the hot tub at the community center right across the street could have been available for a longer time. The grill was great! We cooked steaks the night of the Texas Football Game and had a great time! (even though Texas lost ). The location was amazing the fire pit outside at Purgy's bar was fabulous and the food was to die for. One night around the fire pit my husband, daughter, and one of our other friends played the guitar and sang and entertained a large group of people for hours. One night we went into town for dinner. The town has such a quaint setting and we enjoyed that evening as well. The people were friendly and very accommodating everywhere on the mountain. We befriended 2 young ski instructors we met through a friend that was with us. They have a family member that lives in Durango, and the family member know the 2 young boys. They taught our young ones how to ski and my 18 year old daughter how to snow board. We left them in the drive way with tears in all our eyes as we waved goodbye. We can't wait until next year !! The only draw back was the drive, but I was worth it, we would just like to stay a little bit longer next year. Once again thanks for opening your home to us. To say we enjoyed our time would be an understatement !! Looking forward to next year, we would love to meet ya'll at some point !! Have a great 2010 !!

Hi Tonya, We had such a great time in Purgatory. We all decided your condo was the best location by far! My family use to vacation in Purgatory each winter . It has changed tremendeously in the past 25 years. We always stayed at Tamarron and shuttled to the slopes. Am I ever glad we stayed on the mountain this year! Luckily the mountain/ slopes are the same with the exception of lift 8. It felt like old times! ( with an older body for sure!). We enjoyed your place, it sure is something to be proud of! Spectacular is the best word to describe this home! My family stayed at the Murphy's home over MLK weekend. This is a true ski in/ski out luxury home. There was nothing spared in this home. I would gladly come back again winter or summer! FYI, I found Durango skiing better than Tahoe or Mammoth which is driving distance for us.
