Make sure to walk the Snoqualmie Trail & take time to enjoy the nature in the backyard. We identified at least 5 birds that we'd never seen before up close.....woodland ducks, bald eagles, stellar jays, hummingbirds and woodpeckers! We enjoyed a bon fire with friends, climbing Mt Si & kayaking from the backyard! We especially loved the "Dream" bedroom and all the special details were incredible...a home away from home!

We came to Birdsong Cottage to celebrate our son's birthday! We had a great time skiing together as a family, playing in the snow, shopping in Bellevue, exploring the yard & back deck and relaxing! We appreciated how everything was so clean & organized! We enjoyed the beautiful back yard as well as all the birds & other little visitors!

We came to celebrate the New Year with our family! Our entire family found the cottage extremely comfortable. We also enjoyed the great view! The cottage had everything we needed to cook, play games, complete puzzles and enjoy the view! The bed in the Master Bedroom was especially comfortable! We also enjoyed climbing Mt Si(the view from the top!), visitng Snoqualmie Falls, shopping at the Outlet Mall, climbing on trains at the depot, the many great restaurants in the area. Enjoyed Seattle too!

We came to spend Christmas with our children and grandchildren! We enjoyed walking along the river and sledding/playing in the snow at the Pass. Everything was so well appointed - all the dishes, linens and supplies for our gang!

Our grandsons loved the river- throwing rocks, wading, digging in the sand. The men fished is several places along the river while the women went downtown and to Bainbridge Island. We enjoyed being with our family and waking up to the "green and water!" Pat, you are so thoughtful and have a wonderful place for visitors!

We came to relax for a couple of weeks before our Alaska cruise. We enjoyed being away from the Flordia heat and humidity. We will remember the peaceful, beautiful backyard-loved all the flowers, shrubs and trees and of course, the birds!

We came to Birdsong Cottage to celebrate a 30th birthday with friends and family! We had an amazing weekend here! The Master Bedroom was incredible and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud!!! We enjoyed the walk along the river in the falling snow and the games around the fireplace! We also had fun at the casino! We came to celebrate New Years with our grown children and spouses! We also enjoyed snowboarding at Snoqualmie Summit! Thank you, Pat! Your home is lovely! We came to Birdsong Cottage to visit family and friends. Your home is so relaxing, cozy, clean and enjoyable and we loved all the decorating and special touches! We also enjoyed going to Boxleys Place for dinner and live jazz as you suggested! The kids loved exploring your yard and watching the birds! We came to Birdsong Cottage to attend our one year old granddaughters dedication! We really enjoyed the beauty and cleanliness! The yard took my breath away! We came to Birdsong Cottage to have a comfortable place to stay while participating in the PGA Golf Tournament at Snoqualmie Ridge! We all really enjoyed our stay at your home! We came to Birdsong Cottage (from England) to relax after an Alsakan Cruise and to see the area! We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and the washer and dryer! We loved walking the trails - Twin falls, a day of golf, day trip to Mt Rainier, riding "The Duck" in Seattle, the beautiful scenery, your relaxing garden, and cheescake and jazz at Boxleys! We appreciated the thoughtfulness of the Hostess with the Mostess! Thank you so much for your hospitality and making our stay so comfortable! All those little touches go a long way to show you care. Oh, and thank you for the great send-off! The fireworks were magnificent!

We came from all over the country to celebrate the wedding of our daughter with our loved ones! We had such an incredible week of fun! Birdsong Cottage was a perfect haven for all of us! The kitchen was well stocked and the cottage had all the amenities of a first class hotel! We also appreciated the extra fridge, the extra tables and patio chairs for the Rehearsal Dinner/Reception and the BEAUTY everywhere! This was perfect for hosting a large party comfortably! We also enjoyed walking along the river, the bbq, going wine tasting, hanging out in the gorgeous backyard, hiking Twin Falls & Snoqualmie Casino! Thank you for your thoughtfulness!

Our family came from Alabama and SO enjoyed your amazing home! I loved all the attention to detail! The WELL stocked kitchen and the really comfy beds and exceptional quailty linens were perfect for our tired bodies at the end of each day! We appreciated the roomy layout and gorgeous garden! I have beautiful calendar pics and Christmas card photos already! We loved all the hikes - Twin Falls and Rattlesnake Ridge are not to be missed! Oh -and the men loved the tv's too! We will always remember waking to the birds and not an alarm, the spectacular hydrangeas, the fresh bluberries from your garden that we enjoyed in yogurt and cereal every morning and the cooler, yet warm summer temps! Great location for day trips including a Mariners Game and a day in Vancouver BC. We loved eating salmon that my son caught and loved hearing Courtney sing while we enjoyed a delicious dinner at Boxleys!

Wow! We have attended many weddings, but the one you all hosted for our friends was the best! Classy, comfortable and truly an elegant affair! The setting was gorgeous - all the flowers were amazing. The kids even had a wonderful time playing in your yard, wandering the trails and feeding the fish in your pond. You all made everyone feel at home and we were able to relax and enjoy an intimate time together with our friends and their families. Great job and thank you!

70 is the new 50!!!!!! We came (all 7 of us!) to Birdsong Cottage from all over the country to celebrate our 70th birthdays! We loved the way in which the bird theme was carried out so perfectly! We enjoyed watching all the variety of birds at the feeders - especially all the hummingbirds! The beds were SO comfortable and the cottage was very well supplied and the decor was delightful! We loved being together with dear old high school friends - the photos, playing cards out on the patio, working a puzzle, eating homemade cinnamon rolls, walking along the river, sharing, laughing, and eating homemade chocolate chip cookies! It was so pleasant talking and working with you, Pat! Thank you for helping us plan and prepare for this very special occasion!

We came from Georgia to relax, enjoy family time, see wildlife and enjoy the scenery! At Birdsong Cottage, we appreciated the serenity of the gardens, the privacy of the retreat and the easy access to all the fun activities this area has the offer! I loved watching my grandchildren fall in love with the beautiful and breathtaking Snoqualmie Valley - all the waterfalls, the beautiful and easy hiking trails - the amazing beauty everywhere! We also enjoyed fishing, the fun trails around your beautiful backyard, drinking coffee outside in the mornings. This is a great location for day trips - we enjoyed going whale watching and also the North Cascades National Park. Thank you for inviting us to Boxleys - great jazz, coffee and cheescake! We came to Birdsong Cottage to make it our "home away from home" for several months while consulting for a company here in the Puget Sound area. Pat, "thank you" doesn't seem to convey how appreciative we are that you opened your lovely home to us and made us feel so welcome. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!! We enjoyed the amazing scenery, the birds in the backyard, the beautiful hiking, wine tasting, the Tulip Festival and Snoqualmie Falls. We came to celebrate our mothers 85th birthday! We appreciated the endless hot water, the very comfortable beds and the well equipped kitchen. Wonderful Family Wedding and Reunion! Thank you for thinking of everything! We all loved our time here - this is one great place! We came to attend a family wedding at the Salish. The wonderful atmosphere that you've provided allowed us to sit back, relax and enjoy 70 plus years of stories! We so enjoyed your well designed and well stocked home! We loved the outdoor gardens, birds and lounges. We picked blackberries, walked along the beautiful trail by the river and enjoyed several dinners out on the patio. We wish we could stay longer - a lot longer! It's so peaceful here. Thank you very much! Pat was so wonderful & kind to bring gardening books when she found out my hobby! And the gardener seems like a very nice young man. We greatly appreciated the A/C - especially when it hit 113 degrees! I love this place inside and out. The berries in the backyard were delicious, and the kids enjoyed playing in the backyard. So tranquil here, we loved it!

Birdsong Cottage became our home away from home and surpassed all expectations for comfort and convenience. We delighted in the birdsong theme and enjoyed finding evidence of the whimsy in every nook and cranny! We so appreciated the cleanliness, the household organization, the spectacular gardens, the resources, linens and very comfortable beds! We enjoyed spending time with our children and grandchildren (ages 2 & 5), hiking along the river, fishing, sitting on the patio, mountain views and riding Thomas the Train!
