Hilltop Hideaway is a spectacular 3200 sq. foot log cabin overlooking a pond in the hills of New Hampshire. The log cabin is completely private on 270 acres and has a single master bedroom with a jacuzzi tub and a shower in the bath. There is also a library, gourmet kitchen, great room, bar, game table, additional bathroom, sofa beds and a huge screened in porch. Miles of hiking/skiing/snow shoeing trails surround the cabin.
20 miles from Cannon Mountain Ski Resort and 39 miles from Mt. Washington Ski Resort. This is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway, a family vacation (away from it all) or an executive retreat. The dining room table can seat from 2 to 20! The fireplace is huge, and there is nothing like curling up on the luxurious leather couch and reading a good book or watching your favorite movie. Great in fall, winter, spring or summer.

The best ice cream on the east coast :) Homemade ice cream sold on the side of the road from a little yellow shack. Open May-October.
Located in Woodsville, NH. This delicious family restaurant has been in business over 20 years. A great place to take the family for an evening or lunch. 15 minute drive from vacation Cabin.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this luxurious cabin during the Fall while the colors were changing. The view is breathtaking and the cabin is beautiful. The photos could never capture the true beauty of the inside of the home or the gorgeous surrounding landscape. There is so much to do and enjoy in the area - lounge beside the beautiful fireplace in the massive great room, read a book in the lovely library, or enjoy a game or a puzzle under the skylight overlooking the beautiful grounds. Hiking is so enjoyable and you'll see everything from beautiful trees to tame deer. The owners are extremely pleasant, accommodating and keep the home and grounds meticulous. I will definitely be back and consider this one of my very favorite vacations/locations. You truly will be amazed and leave your vacation time here totally refreshed.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We stayed for a week (wish it was more!!). Beautiful location with lots to do, hiking trails, snowmobile trails, and just plain peace and quiet. Lodge is in "like new condition" surrounded by maple forest. You will definitely want to come back.
