A cozy, comfortable condominium with a great view of the slopes from the living room and master bedroom and a peaceful view into the forest from the dining area. It is very conveniently located in Olde Town Winter Park, less than one-half mile from the ski area and an easy walk. The FREE shuttle bus to the lifts and the town stops right in front of the building.
The living room has a Sofa Sleeper with a 7" inner-spring mattress, so no one has to "sleep on the bar." There is a bunk bed plus a single bed in the second bedroom so it sleeps three, for a total of seven sleeping places. It is a well equipped condo with the conveniences of home. Wireless internet is available. We offer free use of our full size season ski locker at the ski area (West Portal Station) for our guests to leave their skis. The combination to that will be sent with the map and key.
Credit cards accepted for reservations - Visa, MC, Discover. Refundable Damage Deposit of $200 to hold reservation. Refunds made upon return of key and no damage or excess cleaning. Lost key fee is $20. Good internet locator is with maps.google and the address 1180 Winter Park Dr., Winter Park, CO 80482 (mapquest doesn't work.)

Why the Owner Chose Winter Park Village
Winter Park has been my favorite place to ski since I was a kid coming up on the ski train. Terrain to fit every need and it's laid back so you're comfortable anywhere you go. I wanted to be close to the slopes and I frequently just walk up to the area when I'm there. Come enjoy Colorado's and my favorite.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
It's less than 1/2 mile to the base area. The shuttle bus stops right in front of the condo (Green Route) or it's an easy walk. It's even easier since you can put your skis in our season ski locker, like the locals do - lower level of the large black building, West Portal Station. You can see the slopes from the master bedroom and the living room so you'll know what the weather is like.

Good size condo for 5, but I would not recommend more than that, unless sleeping on a pull out couch is o.k. with you? Bathrooms were clean and plenty of towels and blankets. We had an enjoyable time.
Owner response:No worries about "sleeping on the bar" because this sleeper sofa has a 7 inch inner spring mattress; you'll find it very comfortable for up to a 200 lb. person. We also have a privacy drape to separate the sleeper from the rest of the condo. The 3/4 bath is on the first floor, next to the sofa sleeper.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers.

The condo had everything we needed for our stay! It was great being so close to the base of the mountain. The owners were friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.
Owner response:We advertise fully furnished and we try to provide not only the necessities, but the little extras like soap & shampoo, hand lotion for the dry climate, and a colander for the spaghetti nights. We strive to have our guests feel like it's their home away from home.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children.

We recently stayed at the condo (March 2011) and had a great time! The condo much better than the hotel-type or studio rooms we had before in Winter Park and the location is excellent with an awesome view of the slopes. Having the ski locker at the base of the resort was one of the reasons we chose this, and we were not disappointed. On the days we didn't ski, there were snow storms and we built a fire and watched the snow from the living room! We also make a trip to the Sulphur Hot Springs, about an hour away and had a wonderful day there. We particularly enjoyed the restaurant/bar right next to the condo, Shipwreck Landing - Rob's Grog is worth going for!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had another great week in Winter Park. We were very comfortable in your condo and the proximity to Winter Park Resort and availability of your ski locker was really convenient for our kids. Hope to be back next year if not before.
