A walk on the beach towards the west takes you to Historic Watch Hill Village where you can enjoy the harbor, shops and ride the famous flying horses carousel. A walk to the east takes you past Misquamicut State Beach, arcades, shopping and restaurants. There is always plenty to do with day trips to Mystic Seaport and Aquarium and Foxwoods in nearby Connecticut or Newport and Block Island.
