The Lakes Country Club is a private club with a spectacular 27-hole championship golf course, 15 tennis courts, 44 pools and spas, a dramatic 45,000 square foot clubhouse, and a health/fitness center all surrounded by incredibly lush landscaping dotted with lakes and waterfalls. The architecture reflects a relaxed early California Ranch flavor which truly sets The Lakes apart from all other clubs in the desert.
This single-level, 1,358 sq.ft. "Casita" is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac which overlooks the golf course. It features two separate bedroom suites, ideal for one or two couples. The master suite offers a stunning water view which includes the relaxing sights and sounds of your own waterfall! The living/dining room also orients to the water as does the newly expanded stone patio. The patio also offers incredible views of the mountains, golf course and two charming walking bridges that lead you to a secluded lake front pool and spa.
This charming home has been almost completely remodeled and refurnished over the past 3 years. Most guests to date have been friends of the owner so every detail has been considered in order to make this a truly complete vacation home. It's all here, including a beautiful new kitchen, private entry courtyard, golf cart, bikes, 46" TV, Bose DVD/CD player, wireless internet access and original artwork. Almost every room features high ceilings, lots of light and the romance of plantation shutters.

Why the Owner Chose Lakes Country Club
We bought this property because we love the location, it sits in a quiet cul-de-sac and views a small secluded lake. We call it "The Pond" because it's on Ponderosa Cir. It has become the perfect retreat for our friends, family & guests.

Natalie and I have been coming to Palm Desert since we were kids and we love it here! It's so relaxing! The Lakes was always my favorite Country Club -- not too big, not too small. It has a casual "early California" elegance and the people are very friendly.

My husband and I stayed at "The Pond" and cannot say enough great things about our time there. The attention to detail in all rooms made our stay very comfortable, we didn't want for anything. The condo was very, very clean and beautifully furnished and decorated. The kitchen, especially, had all the necessary items required for gourmet cooking. We have stayed in many rental condos and, without a doubt, The Pond was by far our best experience---we look forward to our next visit!

This property is the best The Lakes has to offer having visited other sites. After staying several times in the perfectly appointed and decorated, yet very comfortable home we decided this will be an annual destination. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the waterfall.

We have stayed many places in the desert, but this is by far our favorite place to vacation. With lots to do there, it's a quiet place to relax after golf or tennis. We enjoy the private view patio and upgraded amenities. Beautifully decorated and maintained too!

Look no further for a condo at the Lakes! This one really seems brand new with all the upgrades. It is fully equiped with anything you may need including bikes,a golf cart and towels for the pool! The pool area has both golf course and lake views. We loved having coffee in the morning outside with the beautiful desert views! The Lakes is a relaxing, quiet community with friendly people!

My husband and I had a very relaxing stay at the Lakes. The condo was beautifully furnished, up to date, immaculate and comfortable. The location of the Lakes is close to all the eateries and shopping. I don't think we could have found a better condo anywhere in the Lakes. We hope to stay there again in the future.
