Set yourself apart from other beach rentals in one of the only single-family rental homes, with pool, available on Boca Grande. This fabulous Key West-style private home, on a large property, which was entirely renovated in 2007 with new appliances, flat-panel TVs, furniture, fixtures, baths, flooring, and in-ground heated pool, sleeps 6 comfortably, and can accommodate as many as 8 (including sofa bed).
The extensive property is landscaped with palm and fruit trees, adjacent to a tropical nature preserve, which offers tremendous privacy for your vacation, not found in condos, townhomes or even most other single-family house rentals (you’re on Boca Grande to escape everyday life – don’t stay in a place where you’ll be disturbed by others). Enjoy meals on the screened-in lanai overlooking the new secluded heated pool which starts at zero depth, ideal for small children, reaching 5 feet for adults (the pool has a removable "baby barrier" to reduce risk of children entering pool -- we still recommend supervising children around the pool). Prepare tasty Florida seafood meals in the new kitchen or on the new Weber gas grill.
One minute walk to the best Gulf beaches, great for swimming or shelling (as our guest you have legal access to a private footpath leading to the beach). Walk, jog or bike on the nearby paved path to anywhere on the island, including the quaint town with great restaurants and shopping (bicycles and golf carts can be rented in town). Great for snowbirds or families accustomed to spending their vacations in exclusive settings where lifetime memories are made.

Why the Owner Chose Boca Grande
We've stayed in places all over Florida and can safely say that Boca Grande is one of a kind. It's special place because it feels like you're in a small community of friends who appreciate the island lifestyle. We like to call it the "land time time forgot" because people are friendly and everything is pristine, like when we were kids. There are no chain stores or chain fast-food restaurants and no amusement park rides. Fun is made by going to the beach, playing in the pool and exploring the island.
The Unique Benefits at this House
It's near the beach, which is awesome, but I think our kids like the heated pool almost as much. Our guests remark that the house is in excellent condition and well furnished -- they also like the zero-depth entry end of the pool because it's good for little children. When we're at the house we feel like we're on a private island because it's so secluded and quiet. We love riding the golf cart into town or to the big lighthouse which are both about a 5-minute ride.

Nice coming back and it being just as good as I remembered it to be. Also the kitchen/grill and lanai dining table made it easy to have great family dinners.

Everything about your house was amazing. We have never stayed in a rental home that had so much attention to detail. The kitchen was stocked with top of the line utensils. When we went to the grocery store we forgot coffee filters, we were shocked when we opened the cabinets and saw all the spices, condiments and coffee filters. Having all that there just made it feel more like home.

The pool was great, I liked the planting around the pool and the "jungle"to the side. The walk to the beach seemed much shorter than it looks on the aerial photos.
