  This was the second time staying in this condo, and it was better than the first. It is very well-maintained and comfortable. Since the last visit, many items have been replaced and upgraded. It’s really nice to have a kitchen with lots of dishes and glasses (that actually match,) so dining in is both convenient and a pleasure. The view from the lanai is so beautiful you would have a hard time getting a table in the restaurant which would match this one. Another big plus is not hearing the neighbors – the walls are thick so we never heard anything from either side or above and below. It’s not often you can say that about a condo or hotel room. The convenience of having so many shops and restaurants in close proximity is very nice also. You will feel comfortable staying here and happy that you chose this unit.

  We spent nine glorious days in this condo. Our trip was a graduation gift for our daughter who had just graduated from nursing school. We were not disappointed when we walked through the door for the first time - the condo was just as it appeared in the pictures. The grounds of the Royal Mauian are beautiful. The beach access is great - just a few steps and you're there. It was great having snorkel equipment, beach chairs, and beach towels provided. My daughter and son-in law are vegetarians, so it was nice having Natural Moons just across the street. It was very handy for them to pop in and pick up something they enjoyed for lunch. We really enjoyed visiting the Maui Ocean Center, and Warren & Annabelle's Magic Show in Lahaina was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.

  The listing description was accurate and the photos reflect the condo appearance, but you just cannot tell until you are there in person how great the location is (right on the water), with the best view of the lovely beach. The condo is clean, well-maintained and thoughtfully stocked with everything you need. The condo building is in a good area for swimming, snorkeling, paddle-boarding, or just hanging out on the beach, on a lounge on the lawn, or on the lanai. Take a day trip to Hana, Paia, Upcountry (Makawao, Olinda, Kula), Haleakala crater, or to the beaches in nearby Makena. There are local places to eat, including Cafe O'Lei, which is right across the street. Highly recommend this unit and hope to come back.

  Perfect vacation. The condo is clean, comfortable, and well equipped. We watched sea turtles from the beautiful rooftop patio, and fell asleep to the sound of waves. Two of the nicest beaches were just outside of the condo. Can’t say enough about this place. Highly recommend it!

  We have been coming to this property for years. In our opinions, it cannot be equalled for price, location, and every other criteria a traveler could think of. It is perfectly located, right above Kama'ole I Beach, in a lovely grassy setting, with a nice pool, and right across the street from some fun shops and good eating places. We travel with family, 3-generations, and all of us loved the space. The condo is pristine, cool and breezy, beautifully outfitted and decorated in a lovely Hawaiian manner. It is also totally comfortable with a large lanaii, and with the best views ever! It is a pleasure to visit and revisit. We have been to all the islands and stayed in many condos. This one beats them all!

  We love the location of this building and the aloha charm of this condo. This condo has everything we need to be self sufficient, including beach towels, chairs and binoculars to watch the whales to a fully stocked kitchen. The condo is clean and well looked after and the building and grounds are immaculate. The location is terrific, steps to the beach or to shops. The owner was great to work with and very helpful. This holiday was the best one we have ever had. Would we come back? Absolutley!

  It was the second visit for 4 adults to this wonderful condo, and we are already planning when we can return! The condo itself is very comfy, and just as seen in the photos; it has all the right mod cons and is amply stocked with requisites like linens and great extras like beach chairs and kitchens staples. The location is unbeatable: mere steps from a fabulous beach with great snorkeling, and a view from the lanai that is enchanting. In March we had our own daily whale shows offshore! We also liked the proximity to the shops in South Kihei, such as the ABC and Snorkel Bobs, which made sundry shopping and snorkel rental easy. There are great restaurants right across the street, such as Cafe O'Lei and the Cinnamon Roll Fair. Maalea Harbour for whale watching trips, Wailea for golf and tennis, and even the airport at Kahului are not a long drive away. But why would you want to go anywhere else? It is paradise right there, and we found renting through the owners a most enjoyable experience. The property managers in Kihei were very helpful as well. Definitely recommended.

  The condo met or exceeded our expectations. Pictures were accurate, condo was well stocked in the kitchen, linens/towels, and even beach toys/boogie boards. Loved the view of Kamaole 1, and the excellent rooftop bbq and patio area, which we took advantage of several times. Convenient access to stairs and elevators. Truly a wonderful set up and not one single complaint. We would go back anytime and highly recommend to others. Thank you!

  The Royal Mauian is fabulous - and this unit is in a good location. A nice view down the beach, no direct sunlight - only missed seeing the sunset from the lanai. Courtney was extrememly helpful and communicated promptly when required. The place is clean and well appointed with good kitchen equipment (includng a coffee grinder) as well as boogie boards. It is handy to lots of amenities - including the 808 Bistro which was fabulous - and the Kihei Caffe for the best breakfasts.

  From the moment you open the door and walk inside the Royal Mauian condo #205, you look out on the water and one of the most beautiful beaches on Maui--Kamaole I. This unit is on the second floor with views of the beach, park and ocean. Kick off your shoes and put on one of the Hawaiian CDs to get right into vacation mode. The condo has been updated with granite in the bathrooms and kitchen, but also has some retro Hawaiian rattan furniture and vintage art. It is clean, well-maintained and organized. The owners have thought of everything you might need to make your vacation perfect, including beach towels, chairs and toys. The kitchen is well stocked and you can view the water from the kitchen sink. Although there is a dining table that seats six, you will want to have your meals out on the lanai, taking in the views and sunsets. You might think that the lanai sofa is the perfect place to read a book, but the sounds of the waves and the wind in the palm trees will lull you into a nap. The location is the best part of staying here. There is a chain of three beaches for your morning or sunset walks, just steps away. There is good snorkeling right in front of the condo--and there are a couple of places to rent snorkel gear right across the street. There are good restaurants across the street too, and a natural grocery with salad and hot bars. The roof garden is a perfect spot for sunset barbecue dining. #205 is more than a rental unit, it is a home--it is inviting and comfortable. Whether you want to explore the island, try different activities or just hang out at the beach or pool, you will love staying in this unit. One of my favorite activities is an all-day catamaran sail to the island of Lanai with Trilogy Excursions. I have done this trip a number of times, and each time was a different experience. Seeing whales up close, dolphins swimming and playing in front and around the boat, tropical fish while snorkeling on Lanai--each trip is an adventure. I have also seen whales, dolphins, turtles and fish right in front of the condo. If you are looking for a condo in a great location, on the water, I highly recommend Royal Mauian #205.
