If you are looking for nightlife, bars and the hustle of a town/city this rental is not for you. Jaco is where you then may want to be. There are no adjacent hotels with noise and traffic in the streets at Hermosa Palms.

The property is professionally landscaped. We provide a hospitality concierge that will meet you on your visit. You can be assisted in the location of golf and surfing lessons, casinos, deep sea fishing, bird and butterfly watching, scuba diving, snorkeling, white water rafting, locations of surf breaks, and tours to the volcano, rain forest and cloud forest. You will also be advised of telephone numbers and locations of health care offices, gyms and pharmacies.
This 24 hour gated beach community is beautifully landscaped throughout, with security on the beach and cobbled stone streets. The exclusive, renowned Hermosa Palms beach front gated community has homes in the high 6 digits and some at $1,000,000. Our home is very close to the beach and pool. A large 80' pool is located just footsteps off the sand with a thatched bar, and teak lounge chairs with umbrellas. The beaches of Playa Hermosa stretch for 5 miles with coconut palms and rich volcanic sand. A protected habitat for giant sea turtles. The world renowned beaches of Playa Hermosa hosted the 2009 Billabong World Surf Championship.

Hermosa Palms is a community tucked off the main highway idyllically nestled between beach, farmland, and mountains. Exotic colorful birds, horses and cows surround the lush land. Toucans and Scarlet Macaws are often seen. All of this just 15 minutes away from Costa Rica’s most famous beach town known as Jaco.

Jaco is 1.5 hours from the Airport at San Jose. The town has supermarkets, gift shops, hair salons, ice crème shops, night clubs, bakeries and coffee shops. Just a few miles north of Jaco is the Marriot Los Suenos Resort offering fine dining, tennis, golf and a world class deep sea marina.

To the north is the beautiful Villa Caleta ….a mix of jungle, class and style majestically built on the highest mountain top with spectacular sunset/ocean views. Enjoy the best of sunsets relaxing in a Roman styled amphitheatre while listening to classical music and drinking wine and champagne.

About 2 hours south of Jaco is the National Park Manuel Antonio, and the fishing village Quepos. Both tourist destinations are must see locations. After sipping espressos and cappuccinos visit art galleries in Quepos. Afterwards go to Manuel Antonio and meet a park guide for a tour visiting the monkeys and sloths. A word of caution….don’t put you backpack down on the beach, the monkeys do come down from the trees and run away with it
