The screened porch provides a beautiful view of the sunset on the lake. The main room upstairs combines the living, dining, and kitchen areas, where families and friends can gather to eat, fellowship, watch TV, etc. There is also a smaller open area downstairs. The master bath has an average-sized tub with jets, and the downstairs oversized tub is more like a Jacuzzi. A covered two-car carport is adjacent to the house.
Just fifteen minutes to Alexander City, forty minutes to Montgomery or Auburn, and ninety minutes to Birmingham, there is always something fun and interesting to see and do. If you enjoy golf, the Willow Point golf course is close by. If fishing is one of your favorite sports, you can fish from the dock or put your boat in the water from a nearby boat ramp.

We stayed at this cabin in October of 2011. The house was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the accomodations and look forward to coming back in 2012. We had great directions and would so recommend this rental.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This house was very nice! We had a great time. The only thing it has stairs that go downstairs so if you have young kids around 1-2 you might want to bring a baby gate. The back porch is screened in and has a door that locks so kids can just go on the back porch and play and you don't have to worry about them getting off the porch! That was very nice! Overall it was a great place to stay I would love to stay in this same house the next time!!

After months of searching through hundreds of listings to find the perfect spot for a THREE event weekend, I discovered this lakefront home. I was a little nervous not touring the home first and only looking at the pictures, however, when I unlocked the door I was absolutely amazed at how wonderfully perfect this home was for our weekend. It was elegant, yet , comfortable and made you feel at home. The screened in porch turned into a play room for the 5 toddler's we had there and the open kitchen and living area allowed us to socialize, cook and still watch the children. The house was clean, stocked with everything we needed and then some and the beds were so comfortable we found it hard not to oversleep. It was also absolutely awesome to climb in to the "big tub" as we called it after a long hard day ! Loved it and did not want to leave it! We are planning to get together again next year and plan on staying at this home again ! I also personally enjoyed having coffee on the front porch watching the two chipmunks play right off the porch and the night before listening to the "big buck" rustling the leaves ! I could go on and on ! The only thing we needed that we did not have was a baby gate at the top of the stairs, however, it was an easy fix with some of the handmade heavy wood benchs being used in place of ! J, thanks so much for sharing your little piece of heaven with us ! We hope that many others will share the same experience we had and come again and again !
