House on the ocean with its own beach access over the dunes. Large covered porch for watching the waves and area for sunning. Beach is wide enough to drive on or bike for miles to the inlet. Private and perfect for families and friends. Bedrooms have 2 king size beds, 2 sets of bunkbeds and another with twin beds. New Smyrna has eclectic shopping area and original art galleries as well as surf shops.
A stroll down Main Street with small restaurants and ice cream shops makes for a great day. On the beach there are rentals for bikes, 4 wheelers, surfboards and surf lessons are available. Deep sea fishing is out of Ponce Inlet only a few miles from the house. If you want night life Daytona Beach is 20 minutes north. You can take a day and go to Disney World or Sea World and make it back to the beach by night. This home has been in our family for years and enjoyed on the weekends and summers. You will want to return!

The Unique Benefits at this House
We all congregate on the porch because it is breezy and has beautiful veiws. Running on the beach is a favorite in our family. The shops and restaurants on Flagler make for a fun day and believe it or not the night life is fun, usually good live music can be found

I am a dentist in Vero Beach but grew up in central Florida. This house was bought by my parents when I was a teenager as a weekend home. My brothers and I have recently become the owners of our house and while we still use it for our own getaway, we rent it to help defray the costs of an oceanfront home!

We stayed at this house for a week, and it was one of the best vacations we have ever had! Even before we went, the owners were very helpful and answered all of our questions very quickly and honestly. The house is very nice, clean, and roomy. The pictures make it seem small, but there is quite a lot of room in the bedrooms and living area. We loved the layout because the living room, dining room, and kitchen were all connected and you could walk right out of the living room onto the HUGE porch overlooking the ocean. We spent most of our time in the living space and the porch. A short walk over the dunes from the porch and you're at the ocean! The area on the beach is not very crowded even during the day! There were some people, but in the mornings and at night you basically had most of the beach to yourself. There was a Publix only a 3 minutes away, and shopping only a few minutes away also! Everything you needed was right there. You won't have to spend a ton of time in the car driving to get food or shopping. We will definitely be renting this house again! We had nothing but good things to say!
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, pet owners, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
