One of 93 privately owned homes, the original portion of the house was built in 1935 and has expanded to become a five bedroom (two of which are master suites), four bath home built in a western style of board and batten exterior with numerous wood porches and hardwood floors through most of the house. A 65 foot lap pool plus spa enhances the back yard and is bordered by natural desert vegetation. An in-ground trampoline attracts the entire family. Family room includes full-size pool table and piano.
The house is situated a short walk around the corner from the Ranch House – a central gathering place that includes a spacious lounge and dining room which serves three meals a day. Other ranch amenities include a community pool/spa, nine tennis courts (two of which are clay courts), a three hole pitch and putt golf course, a lawn bowling green, and an extensive children's playground complete with two swing sets, a merry-go-round, jungle gym, see-saw, slide, and a two-story tree house. Also just a short walk from the front porch is the riding stables where horses are available to ride out onto miles of desert and mountain trails. An electric golf cart is available for your use.
Relax and enjoy the ambiance of a 70 year old guest ranch located on the south side of Palm Springs. The entrance gate is staffed by guards 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Once on the ranch, the hustle and bustle of the city is left behind and one is transferred to a natural desert environment. We have had this house since my grandfather built it in 1935. It was remodeled and updated from 1992-1993. You will not find a more quiet, genuine, and friendly neighborhood in all of Palm Springs.
