  • We stayed at this beautiful house for a family reunion. The balcony was huge and perfect for enjoying the day. the inside of the house was clean and simple. the house is also in a very nice neighborhood so it was fun to go on walks. overall, as a first experience with vrbo I can say that we ALL were very impressed by roys beach house.

  • This was a great place for a family reunion and relaxation. The best feature is a very large outdoor patio, with slate floors, chairs, a table, grill, and a large umbrella. The patio (and house) sit on Manhattan Beach’s Strand, which is a stretch of beachside homes. It was very relaxing to wake and have coffee and watch joggers and others walking along the boardwalk that fronts these homes and is parallel to the beach (you can walk for 20 minutes along the boardwalk and reach downtown Manhattan Beach and the pier, where there are dozens of wonderful restaurants and stores). The view of the ocean from the patio and home is unobstructed and amazing. This is the El Porto section of Manhattan Beach, one of the most famous surf spots in Southern California. On many mornings, you see hundreds of surfers in the water. This is a fabulous place to stay!
