Love this place! The perfect peaceful setting overlooking the garden, great for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. So many restaurants from Little Italy, to Gaslamo and Hillcrest there is never a lack of things to do or see. You can walk to the ferry for Coronado island if you do not want to fight traffic and hang out with the free bands and places to eat right at the Coronado Ferry Landing beach. Almost no one ever uses the beach, so you usally get the sand and water all to yourself. You are close to theaters and nightlife downtown as well. Plus the price is a real bargain. You really cannot get a hotel, for this low price and the washer/dryer, kitchen, free underground secure parking all add up to a huge bargain. Don't miss the amazing Farmer's Market on Date Street, in Little Italy on Saturdays...right up the street from the condo. Try India Street for a load of great Italian restaurants and neighborhood nightlife. You are also only about 4 blocks from the Trolley and Coaster Train if you want to go up to the north beaches or even all the way to Disneyland on the train. I also understand that the agency has an identical unit right next door if you need room for a bigger family. After staying here I don't think I would enjoy San Diego any other way!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+.
