This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin, is located on the sunny side of Donner Lake across the street from public docks. The kitchen has been fully updated and has Silestone counters. The living space has a rough hewn beamed ceiling and there is a massive stone wall with wood burning stove. The large windows provide beautiful views.
Downstairs is a queen bedroom with it's own bath and upstairs is a king bedroom and a room with 2 sets of twin bunk beds and a shared bath. For those who have to work during their vacation, this house has high speed Internet. As of Nov 2008 there is now a new home theater system with surround sound and an iPod dock.
There is a deck in front for relaxing and enjoying the lake and mountain views. The back deck is for more private times and both decks have tables for casual dining spring through fall. The driveway is fully plowed in the winter.
Donner Lake is an ideal year round destination with winter snow activities, summer water and mountain fun and spring and fall quiet getaways for your favorite sport or just relaxing. It is close to many ski areas, Town of Truckee, Lake Tahoe, 45 minutes to Reno for casinos and there is good fishing across the street.
