We really enjoyed our stay at this bottom floor condo unit. The unit was clean and extremely convenient to the beach...right out the door.( Pictures were very accurate) In addition, the location was on a great section of seven mile beach. We found it to be a bit more private and not as much foot traffic as some of the other resorts/condos.There were plenty of beach chairs and open space to relax. When you walked down the beach and arrived at some of the other resorts/condos, a few were a bit cramped. The beach chairs and umbrellas were close together and people seemed to have limited space. We were happy we had selected Treasure Island for our stay. You could also walk to the supermarket and quite a few restaurants. Town was approximately a mile away and we walked there too. Larry was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions right away. I would definitely recommend his unit and look forward to renting from him again.

After several cruises my wife and I decided, a few years ago, to visit a different island each year and really experience the local culture. This year's destination was Grand Cayman and we were not disappointed. The condo was everything advertised, clean, well appointed and conveniently located. The pictures were accurate and we did not want for anything. The owner was extremely responsive and very helpful offering numerous suggestions on where to go and what to do. There is always some trepidation when renting from a stranger but Larry put us at ease immediately and was one of the most helpful and responsive owners we have ever dealt with. While food and alcohol are expensive, even by Caribbean standards, Kirks supermarket (about 1 mile away) offered a good selection and allowed us to have several, less expensive, home cooked meals which were easily prepared with the well stocked kitchen. There were numerous restaurants within an easy bus ride and out favorites included Macabuca's at the far end of 7 mile beach (it is connected to the Cracked Conch but is less formal and less expensive), Sunshine Grill where they serve complimentary ice-cream cones with every meal and Alla Kabobs, a stand food type affair with excellent kabobs wraps and sandwiches. We found all of these to offer good value and tasty food. The bus system works well, just wait on the side of the road until you see a van with an oval on the front and for $2.50 US they will take you to the end of 7 mile beach or to town or anywhere in between. We swam with the rays and used Sotos, they picked us up at the front of the complex and brought us back for no extra charge and did a fantastic job of educating us about the rays and making sure we had a good time. We negotiated with a bus driver to take us from the downtown bus station to Rum Point and pick us up for $10 per person each way and had a fantastic time. While it is a bit of a logistical challenge it was well worth the effort. If you are planning a trip to Grand Cayman I would highly recommend this condo.

We were pleased to rent this delightful ground-level apartment. The owners were wonderful about providing us with good information regarding the area and things we might do. They even went into town and made some contacts so we could arrange for fresh fish each evening! The unit itself is very well equipped, with a beautiful ocean-front location. You walk out your door and you are on the beach! The unit is nicely appointed, clean and up-to-date with fully stocked kitchen supplies. We already have this property on our "short list" for where to go when next we get some vacation time -- it's a delight!

My family and I stayed here November 2011 . The pictures are accurate, in fact I love looking at the pictures as it reminds me of our wonderful vacation . The beach is actually closer than it looks like in the pictures , literally five steps through the grass and you are on the beach . The condo was very clean and well maintained . The blender is awesome for making frozen margarita's !! This property is close to the town about a mile and a half . There is a liquor store very close by - just a walk thru the parking lot . The barbeque grills are right next to the pool and came in very handy for grilling burgers and hotdogs . The pool area is very nice , there is a hot tub and a separate kiddie pool . Kiddie pool area has some nice palms trees around it for some shade .We also met a very large bearded dragon near the pool (got some great pics ) . the cove area on the beach is just perfect , my four yr old was so comfortable , no waves ! There are little fish that come up right to the beach - you don't even have to snorkel to see them . the beach was also very quiet when we were there . sometimes we had the entire beach to ourselves . We were there during Pirates week , which was very fun especially with young children . We did the Jolly Roger pirate ship ride . So much fun . There are snorkels and masks , noodles etc. to use .My daughter , 6 yrs old learned to snorkel here . We brought down our own sand toys . My son was crying on the plane on the way home as he wanted to stay on Vacation ! You will feel very comfortable here . Like having your own home at the beach . Nice !

I've stayed at MANY VRBO properties and this one fully met my expectations. The location is great - as convenient to everything as there is. The condo is updated, clean, and well stocked. Little things make a big difference and I was pleased with this unit. I would definitely recommend this property to others who are looking for good value.

Wonderful location! No need to pay someone to take you on a snorkeling trip when you can swim right outside the condo to the reef. Beautiful sunsets as well. Owner very helpful both before and during stay. Coconut Joe's just down the street has great breakfast. Can't wait to go back.

Our family loved this condo and location. The beach was clean, calm and perfect for snorkeling for myself (not a great swimmer) and boys (7&9 yrs). The unit has a convenient location and has all the amenities you could possible need. Many restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Take advantage of cooking in house as the prices are very high in all restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We had the best Caribbean vacation ever at this beautiful condo. Grand Cayman is a truly beautiful island, everything is easy, and the people are delightful. This condo is in a fabulous location with a spectacular view of garden/lawn, beach, and water. It has two lovely pools within a few feet and the entire complex is very well maintained and quiet. The listing is completely accurate, and as we had hoped, the condo is exceptionally well stocked for cooking and "feeling at home". We had such a nice time both in the kitchen and at the barbeques right outside that we never did eat out in a restaurant. The owner was exceptionally responsive to our requests for information before the trip and once we arrived in the condo. We are keeping this listing as we intend on returning. Our first experience with VRBO was an excellent one.

We stayed at this condo during a week in January and thought it was wonderful. We had visited the Caymans previously and stayed in a hotel, but were extremely happy we went with this condo during our January visit. The view out of the patio doors of the unit is beautiful and it only takes a few steps before you are on the beach. Being on the ground floor is the ideal experience. Everything was delivered as promised by the owner and he was great to work with. We were a bit concerned having never used VRBO before, but this was an excellent experience for us. We would highly recommend this condo if you want a beautiful location on seven mile beach and we plan to come back to the same place in the future. Memorable experience!

Our family of four found this condo to be not only the BEST for it's location on the island, but BEST for the location within the treasure island complex! The porch was a breezy respite of shade during the days and a view-filled haven of relaxation during the nights. The location of the beach is a part of 7 mile beach but has a little bit of sepation from the beachwalkers by way of a small walk in the surf around a rock "bend" in the shoreline. So while 7 mile beach hoopla is easily accessible, Treasure Island's beach is somehow a little bit more private. A rock wall protects the beach and provides great snorkeling, as do the reefs out past the rocks by about 50 yards or so. The pools were beautiful and the workout room, out of this world! The swim up bar serves fantastic food and has the best Bloody Mary's on the island! We absolutely would suggest this unit in particular to anyone interested in a beautiful condo right on the beach. What a treat! The owners called us when we arrived to answer any questions and make sure we were happy (we were)(even our 18 and 19 year old kids were happy!!!). Access to the condo was a key code button lockout so you don't have to worry about keys. They also provided a phone to make calls locally. You can't do better than this place or these owners!

Great condo with a great view, as portrayed in the listing. All the comforts of home made it easy to vacation with the kid's. The Treasure Island complex provides a nice pool & restaurant with a swim up bar & the only kids wading pool in Cayman. The beach is very nice & uncrowded, with good snorkeling right there. In my opinion it is one of the best locations on 7 mile beach, close to everything you need. The keypad door lock is nice too, as you can head to the pool or ocean & leave keys behind. The owner provided very helpful information prior to & during our stay. We hope to return soon.

We have come to the Cayman's several times before and this was the first staying at Treasure Island. This condo has one of the best locations in the complex, being near to the beach and pool. The view from the living room, master bedroom and front porch is amazing! The complex is ideally suited by being close to town, shopping, restaurants and anything else that you could possibly need; while at the same time offering a beautiful beach and on site facilities. The snorkeling right off the complex is amazing and we often walked to snorkel at a wreck just south of here. We are definitely planning on a return trip as it was our best vacation ever, largely due to the amazing accommodations.

Me & some of my gal friends have stayed here 2 different times ,the place is perfect.It's right on the beach we enjoyed playing cards on patio watching the sunset.The condo has everything you need plus some ,very close to liquior store,grocery and many eating establishments Coconut Joe's is always good whether it's breakfast,lunch or dinner.The staff at Billy Bones(swim up bar )at condos are great Jesse is the best and you can ask the Chef Mike to fix you one awesome dinner it's is divine.I highly recommend the condo to anybody it is very well worth it.ENJOY !! Our experience at this property was truly a dream. The location was prime. The condo was fully equipped with a home away from home effect. The property well maintained and clean. The owner was very helpful and was easy to reach. We would most definitely recommend staying here to our friends and family. We actually look forward to visiting again. The restaurants were amazing, many to choose from, down seven mile beach into Georgetown. Whatever restaurant you choose you will not be disappointed. Many activities from snorkeling, to swimming with the Stingrays and museums, etc. The beach is gorgeous. Easy to get around the island. We have seen many of the islands, but this was most definitely Paradise!

I've stayed at this property a few times. It is a large and clean condo. You have your own large patio which you can step out onto the beach. The view of the white sand and the Caribbean sea is amazing. The pool and hot tub area is well maintained. The swim up bar and restaurant is an added perk. I highly recommend this property.
