One of the best apartments located right in Whistler Village. Rennovated in 2009, brand new hardwood floors, bathroom, and paint job. The condo has a view of Blackcomb mountain and is on the quiet side of Marketplace Lodge. Grocery store, liquor store, movie rental store, restaurants, shops RIGHT outside the building of Marketplace Lodge and seconds away, they are all so close you could go in your pyjamas! 38' Flat screen tv/dvd player in family room + 20' flat screen tv/dvd player in the bedroom.
There is a free shuttle bus that passes by every 7 minutes to take you to bases of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains and both mountains are 5 minutes via the free shuttle bus and the bus stop is covered to keep you dry if snowing or wet. In ski boots it is a 10 minute walk to Whistler base and a 15 minute walk to Blackcomb base. One thing we can organize for your is renting your equipment at Whistler base at Summitt Ski and Sport or storing your skis or board at the base so can leave your equipment and boots there and not have to bring them back and forth in the mornings and afternoons. Why the Owner Chose Marketplace Lodge
Whistler/Blackcomb is by far the best ski resort in the world with so many amenities right within in walking distance in Whistler village. Whistler has something for everyone, grocery stores and pubs for the more economic valued toruist for meals to some of the best 5 star restaurants in Canada. Apres is also a great scene at Merlins at the base of Blackcomb or the GLC at the base of Whistler.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
If you are 2 couples or a couple with children you can at night each have the privacy of watching tv or movies (rental store 10 seconds away from the property) in your own area with there being a tv and dvd player in the bedroom and another tv and dvd player in the family rooom
(where the pull out bed pulls out and the sofa is). It ia beautiful unit having been recently rennovated in December 2008. No building in ALL of whistler is surrounded by such amenities as

My brother and I stayed in this apartment in March 2011 and loved it. We were a bit nervous going all the way to Whistler for the first time from Argentina but the owner made it really easy asking lots of questions about how to get to Whistler and things about Whistler and of course about the apartment. What made it even easier is that he speaks Spanish like us so we were able to communicate with him in Spanish. The apartment was great because we could walk to all the bars in restaurants very close to the building as well as grocery store and liquor store right outside which was good as we cooked dinner for ourselves most nights in the big full kitchen. It is really comfortable and it was a great place to come back after really cold days or nights, the heating system is outstanding. We had a lot of bags (ski + snowboard gear, backcountry equipment, lots of clothes, etc) and we had no problem at all with the space. There's a lot of places to eat right outside the building, which was great for those nights when you just don't feel like cooking. It was really close to both mountains as well and if you did not want to walk you could take the free shuttle bus outside the building that came every 10 minutes and went to Blackcomb and Whistler bases. We had a great trip and this was a great place to stay. I'd really recommend it for whoever is looking for a good place to stay and the owner really help us out with everything.

A lot of my Australian friends had told me of how great Whistler was and I had always wanted to go. I talked a mate of mine into it and we comitted to a trip this past January 2011 and had a great time. One of the best parts of the trip was this great apartment we stayed in and the help of the owner of the apartment Mark. He helped us organize round trip airport bus transfers from the airport right to the building, discounted lift passes and equipment rentals and storing our equipment rentals right at the base of Blackcomb mountain. The unit was great and having a tv in each separate sleeping area was great. The location could not be beat having the main grocery store, liquor store, movie store right outside the building. Super location!!!

Unit is in perfect location, small walk or regular free bus to the mountain lifts, and 30 seconds from supermarket and food outlets. When we moved in everything was clean, in order, and ready for our arrival. The kitchen is well equipped and very spacious for two people. The unit manager is a friendly guy, very easy to work with and very prompt with communication. Highly recommended.
