We are regular visitors to the area and we love this place. Lorelle's country cottage will be our home away from home as often as we can get back to Wyoming! No snowfall during our stay - a rarity - but this meant we saw the Tetons every single day. Record low snow levels this year, but still the xc skiing was great. Saw tracks, big and small, even a herd of elk. I loved cooking with a view of the Tetons. Could have stayed a month!

I must say that the pictures do not lie with this property. It is appointed to a very high standard in a quiet location with views of the Tetons / Grand Targhee ski resort from the porch. The cottage was immaculate with every convenience provided. The location between both the ski resort and the small town of Driggs was ideal for me, with either one approx 15 - 30 minutes driving (in winter) . The owner, Lorelle, who has the home next to this cottage, was incredibly helpful prior to my arrival and answered any questions I had about the local amenities, driving conditions & providing useful information about the area etc... Which was great as this was my first trip to Targhee. All-in-all if you're heading out that way, I would highly recommend this rental.

My husband and I spent 8 wonderful nights at this property -- Lorelle, the owner, not only has impeccably appointed this "cottage" (which is a gross understatement -- this place is more than any cottage I've ever seen!) with granite tiles, marble vanity, tapestry window coverings, stainless steel appliances and numerous thoughtful decorative additions. The views are fantastic, privacy is guaranteed. It's only 12 minutes into Driggs, which has a full service grocery store. Over the pass into the Tetons is a drive of which we never tired! The scenery is breathtaking. We will return -- without a doubt!

My husband, 12 year old son, and I thoroughly enjoyed our 6-night stay here - and wish we would have booked it for a bit longer! The home is so well-equipped and so lovingly maintained, we were able to just sit back and really relax and enjoy ourselves. The nearby town of Driggs has a great grocery store to get stocked up. Our son loved having the loft room to himself; a comfortable bed and plenty of space for him to feel he had his privacy. The cool temps at night were fantastic for sleeping, too! While the drive up to Yellowstone is about 2 hours, it was a beautiful drive. I highly recommend going up (or back down) on the east side of the Tetons for breathtaking views of the Tetons National Park, but the slightly quicker route is west of the mountains. Either way, this home base was so great to come back to each day. Enjoyed breakfast and dinners on the patio, but probably the best thing was seeing the moose in the creek near the end of the driveway. Fun! We have stayed at about 6 different properties through HomeAway, and this is definitely at the top of that list.

Just returned from a trip where my husband, 13-year-old son and I spent 4 nights at this beautiful cottage. It is even nicer than described and the pictures don't do it justice. It is incredibly well appointed - has EVERYTHING you could possibly need. The decor is really beautiful and stylish, and the cottage is very cozy and comfortable. Our son thought the loft was his own little "apartment." The views are stunning and it is so private. It is so quiet - it added a new level to being peaceful. Make sure you go outside at night so you can see the stars - it was beyond breathtaking. I expected this place to be nice, based on what I read and saw in the photos, but this is one of those rare places where you get so much more than you were expecting. You did a great job, Lorelle!!! I would recommend this cottage to anyone, of any age.

We've rented a number of VRBO properties and have never been disappointed. This property, however, was beyond our expectations! The owner thought of every detail to make our stay amazingly comfortable and relaxing. The owner was also extremely helpful in answering any of our questions regarding the area, things to do, places to stop, etc. We enjoyed many days of hiking in the Tetons and sightseeing in Yellowstone. Both parks are beautiful drives from the cabin. We also had a lot of fun hiking at Targhee Resort, about a 20 minute drive from the cabin. Long walks from the cabin were beautiful, as well! Relaxing on the porch after each day's adventure was a perfect way to end each day! The grocery stone in Driggs - Broulims has everything you'll need with lots of variety. Pretty amazing for a small town! The well-equipped kitchen made packing lunches for hikes and preparing meals quick and easy. It was fun to visit the Wednesday Farmer's Market in Driggs, as well, to pick up fresh locally grown fruits and vegetables. If you enjoy Thai Food, the Teton Thai Restaurant in Driggs is wonderful! Overall, couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and fun trip! Five star accommodations we'd highly recommend!

This property is clean and well-maintained with state-of-the-art modern kitchen appliances. The owner was glad to help and loaned us a book on hiking trails. Tony's Pizza and Teton Thai were outstanding places to eat. We would recommend this cottage to any couple who enjoys playing in the mountains.

Cannot imagine what would have made our vacation any better - pictures do not do this cottage justice, for sure! The property is beautiful, the cottage is beautiful - loved everything about it. Thoughtful amenities, like a cooler for picnics, coffee, spices, etc. and the little comforts of home were very much appreciated. A bit of a drive to Yellowstone but what a gorgeous drive it was--drove it almost every day and enjoyed every minute. Very clean, decor was lovely--hope to return in not too distant future. Excellent grocery store nearby and also enjoyed O'Rourkes. Thanks, Lorelle, for sharing this awesome place. (Nana was a bonus!)

If you are considering a trip to the Jackson Hole area, this should be your number one consideration for lodging. I have never stayed in a more lavish "cottage", and our host had just the perfect balance of catering to our every need while giving us perfect privacy and space. The pictures just do not do it justice! If there is something you think you might need and have forgotten, it's there....right down to the cooler for your picnic lunch to Yellowstone or that iphone charger you forgot. Our host was even able to provide knitting needles for us! Amazing! And I don't know how she did it, but on our last day, our host provided us the most incredible rainbow I have ever seen. The only thing you will regret about staying here is that you can't stay longer.

My husband and I celebrated our golden anniversary by coming to this lovely location. We were looking for serenity, scenery, and respite from the oppressive heat of a Louisiana summer. We found all that and more. The countryside is beautiful, and the cottage itself is exquisite. Lorelle is so gracious to share this gem with others. It is our fondest hope to return.

This little house was just the right size for our family. It was very clean, comfortable, and very nicely decorated. The beds were extremely comfortable, with quality mattresses and linens that felt wonderful after a long day of hiking or sightseeing. There is plenty of storage in the bedroom, with a large closet and lots of drawers. The bathroom is very nice, with lovely fixtures and tile, and plenty of plush towels. The whirlpool tub feels great after a 10-hour hike... The stacked washer and dryer are in a closet between the bathroom and bedroom, with detergent and dryer sheets available. That was so nice, to not have to buy laundry detergent for just a few loads. The kitchen is beautiful, and as you can tell from the photos, it's part of the living area, so cooking a meal does not mean being left out of the conversation. We cooked most of our meals there, and found everything we needed, except for a bread knife! We are bread fanatics, and found a wonderful bakery that sells exceptional old world, artisan bread. If you like bread, visit 460* Bread, just off Main Street, behind the ranger station. We used the grill numerous times, and found everything we needed - grilling pan, tools, etc. Oh, and the grocery store in Driggs, Broulims, is much better than we expected (due to the size of the town). It had everything we needed, and much more! If you love chocolate, try the Utah Truffle....mmmmmm. While in Driggs we ate at the bus, can't remember the name, but it's the bus that sells Mexican food, parked on Main Street. Very good, and it was showing Ice Spiders on the SyFy Channel, so we ate inside to escape a downpour. Ah, memories.... ;-) We also ate at Miso Hungry and Pendl's Bakery & had more yummy food. We recommend all those places. If you plan to hike, be sure to stop by the ranger station & talk to Stuart. He gave us excellent advice, and we thoroughly enjoyed the 3 hikes we took. I wish we'd been able to stay for several weeks longer - it was THAT nice! Thank you, Lorelle, for providing such a beautiful place for us, and making our stay so pleasant!

It was a wonderful choice to stay in this cottage for our family vacation for one week at the end of June. The view of the majestic Grand Teton and endless green fields surrounding the cottage made the cottage a great place. We never got tired of seeing the views from the nice patio in the cabin. It is beautifully furnished with high quality appliances, and everything made our stay very comfortable. It was a bit far to get to Yellowstone from the cabin; approximately 2 hours, but the view on the way was pretty enjoyable. We drove to Yellowstone and/or Grand Teton almost everyday and enjoyed breathtaking nature, wild animals and activities such as hiking, canoeing, and water rafting. Driggs, a town nearby, is only 10 minutes away and there is a large supermarket. We stopped by at a homey bakery café in the town called Pendl’s Bakery & Café. We highly recommend that place for a quick snack or lunch. We already miss our stay in this cottage in the beautiful state of Wyoming! We definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to experience beautiful country life with two National Parks close by. If you choose to stay there, it will no doubt be a choice that you will not regret and will give you a great, memorable vacation. Thank you Lorelle!

We stayed 4 weeks in this beautiful cottage. We loved every minute! The views of the 3 largest Tetons from porch & front of house were a source of amazement & awe. The night skies were brilliant with the moon, planets & stars in memorable brilliance. The countryside was blooming with wildflowers. We hiked many trails, visited Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Parks many times, seeing mule deer, moose, bison, pronghorn antelope, and loved the family of Swainson's hawks living near the cottage. The morning walks were special with the mist rising from the small ponds, with many birds and waterfowl. We loved the private garden with hummingbirds flitting among the beautiful flowers. What a wonderful time we had. Thank you Lorelle! And give a pat to "Nana". We miss WY.

Though this cottage is only a ten minute drive to Driggs, you are secluded enough to feel away from everything--very quiet and sufficiently distant from the lights of the town to be excellent for star gazing. The setting is a combination of foothills and forests of the Teton mountain range and rolling farmland. The view of the Tetons from here is beautiful. The interior has beautiful furniture and top of the line appliances. We stayed for two months (late May to late July) and enjoyed the serenity and comfort when we were home in the cottage, but also appreciated the reasonable driving distance to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. We could not have been happier. We hope to come back and stay here again.

My husband and I were amazed at the beauty of the location - including lovely views of the Teton Mountains and flowing green fields. The cabin was filled with top shelf amenities - beautifull kitchen with stainless steel apliances, granite countertops, all needs anticipated. We were treated to a gift of fresh coffee and half and half as well as condiments- spices included. The furniture was comfortable and new. The desk even had office supplies provided. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was all you could want. Ever thing was CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN. The peacefulness, the beauty, the comfort, - the whole experience was more that we expected. . Five stars aren't enough. LOVED IT!!!!!
