This charming stand alone studio cottage has the complete atmosphere of the tropical beach. It is located just a short walk, less than a block, down Westbourne Street to La Jolla's scenic 'Windansea' Beach. You will find fantastic surfing, sunsets, tide pools, at Windansea's beautiful sandy beach.
This is a roomy single-story studio one bathroom cottage and features comfortable furnishings with a new flat screen TV. The cottage has been recently painted. Enjoy an ideal comfortable getaway for a romantic couple or small family. The living area in the cottage has a comfortable queen size bed and comfy queen size sofa sleeper.
The cottage is fully furnished with a fully stocked kitchen, bed and bath linens. Internet and cable TV are included. The private enclosed tropical yard is furnished with a BBQ and outside seating. Cottage comes with a designated parking spot behind the property.
The home is also located a short 10 minute walk to the famous and upscale La Jolla Village where you will enjoy fabulous shopping, antiques, comedy clubs, museums, art galleries, outdoor activities and dozens of fine or casual dining restaurants. Examples of these are; Jacks of La Jolla, George’s on the Cove, La Jolla Weekend Market, La Jolla Shores family beach, The Museum of Contemporary Art , USPGA Torrey Pines Golf Course, Birch Aquarium, Hang Glider Port and the La Jolla Playhouse, to name a few.

My husband and I rented the cottage last year. The fact that there was an enclosed patio was a plus since we were traveling with our pups. The location was wonderful, close to everything and we enjoyed our walks to Wind and Sea Beach. We were fortunate to be able to book again this year. I'm looking forward to another relaxing vacation.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

A girl friend and I took a quick long weekend getaway and found this unbelievably adorable cottage in La Jolla. The best part is...walking distance to the beach and it didn't hurt that the price was right too. Our host Lorraine was very accommodating and very quick to respond. Thank you for the most enjoyable girls getaway that anyone could ask for.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Very convenient location. Comfortable and clean. Owner was very responsive to repairing a few minor items. Well-stocked kitchen and beach supplies. I would definitely return. Great restaurants: Sushi on the Rock and Brockton Villa. Rubio's had great fish tacos.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.
