magical cottage in the forest

This cottage is like a magical cottage in the forest. It has everything you need even fishing rods and racks for roasting hot dogs or marshmellows. You dont need to take anything but your personal items and food. They even have coffee , some spices etc. We caught brim and bass in the pond and even saw a deer beside the pond one afternoon. Was a little afraid it would be hot with no a/c as we live where it is 100 +. But should not have worried , the fresh crisp air was wonderful. It has been a long time since I have slept with the windows open. Our dog loved it . We did not even have to keep him on a least when he when out. There is no traffic. Very quite and clean and very private. Looked listening to the sound of the birds. Loved having Wifi and there are two brand new flat screen tvs there if you have time to watch them. We also enjoyed meeting the owners and wish we had had more time to visit with them as they were a very nice and interesting couple. We will defnitely go back again . Maybe next time in the fall because I am sure it is beautiful then as well. Then we might try the fire pit and roast some hot dogs. Also enjoyed the horse shoes. We cooked steaks on the gas grill one night and there is also a charcoal grill there and even wood and a axe for the fire pit. Cant get it better than this is you want to be alone. Wonderful, private cabin

Our 2nd visit to this cabin!! Always clean, kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for cooking. If you want a private & quiet cabin, this one is for you. Far enough away from town & traffic, but close enough if you want to shop or walk. We love walking around Bass Lake, visiting Moses Cone, and of course the Tanger outlets! We will be back again! Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!!

i love this cottage! it has everything you need to feel like home. All is new, including the kitchen appliances. Extremely clean!! The owners are such lovely people! GREAT place!! Close to everything. Easy to access from the Highway. Beautiful view!!!

A wonderful, relaxing, serene little hideaway. It has everything you need and is only about 10 minutes outside Blowing Rock. Grilling out and eating outside on the picnic table was heavenly. Our only regret was not staying longer.

This is a Must Stay Cottage !!!!!! If You are Looking for a Location Filled With Tranquility, Seclusion and a Serene Environment - This Is It !!!!!!!!!!!! Stop Here !!!!!!!!! In Short - There is Nothing to Say in Short. This is a Great Place To Stay !!!!! We Enjoy the Cottage & its Surroundings So Much - We Now Visit At Minimum of Twice Annually in the Summer & Winter for at the Least of a week - but Usually More. We Absolutely Love Relaxing in one of the numerous Adirondack chairs on the porch, on the fishing dock or in the yard - All Overlooking the Lake. Have a Great Time Fishing on the Dock & Catch Fish Too !!! Enjoyed Many Meals cooked on the BBQ Grills (Gas & Charcoal) while taking in all the Great Views sitting on the picnic table !!! Great Place to Hike & Bike !! Many, Many the things to do & see locally within a 2-3 mile radius. Blowing Rock is a Very Quaint Town 1 mile away, with many things to do & see. Spectacular Mountain Views !!!!!! Wonderful Place for Families, Pets or Just You. We Bring Board Games, Cards & Etc. to Play while Enjoying Our Time Here. Great Place to Reconnect with Others. If You are looking for a Relaxing Place to Stay that is Peaceful, Away from the Hustle & Bustle of Everyday Life - You Will Find it Here, At This Cottage!!! We are Counting the Days Until We Return to the Cottage, on Our Next Vacation this coming Summer !!!!!! See You Soon Cottage by the Pond !!!!!
