"Island Loft" Unit at Puerta al Mar
On a crescent-shaped beach, Puerta al Mar is located on Sac Bajo, Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Completed in 2008, Puerta al Mar consists of 27 privately-owned units, with views of Mujeres Bay and Cancun skyline to the front, and Makax Lagoon to the back. With its location on the leeward side of the island, bay waves are calm, and winds are muted compared to the Caribbean side. A free-form infinity pool and palapa are located between landscaped grounds and the beach. The beach is walkable in either direction to beach clubs and local beachside restaurants.
Our unit is on the second floor and consists of a front living and dining area, kitchen, two bedrooms and two full baths. The condo has unit-wide balconies off both the front and back to enjoy sunrises over the lagoon and sunsets over Cancun. Four sliding glass doors fully retract into both walls, opening the front room to the bay balcony and your view to Cancun. The front room has a Sharp Aquos 46-in flat screen TV and CD/DVD/MP3 stereo, all viewable from an L-shaped couch, and from the kitchen and dining area. A glass dining table seats four. The kitchen has granite counter tops with a central island, and is equipped with an oven, cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, and GE stainless steel refrigerator/freezer. Conveniences include a counter-top hot and cold water dispenser with bottled water, a Kitchen-Aid commercial blender, coffee maker and toaster.
Both bedrooms have king size beds with Therapedic 7-Zone luxury mattress toppers. The condo is designed to sleep four adults comfortably. Adult guests preferred. Both baths have walk-in glass & limestone showers. A hotel-style safe is available in the master bedroom. The second bedroom has a Sharp Aquos 32-in flat screen TV with CD/DVD player.
Wall-mounted air conditioners and ceiling fans operate with remote control. Our unit has a laundry closet with a washer and dryer, equipped with supplies for your convenience. Maid and grocery delivery services are available.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful week at "the loft". We would rate this a six star stay rather than a five star stay and only wished we could have stayed longer. It was perfect, the staff was gracious beyond words, there wasn't anything we lacked. Absolutely the best, most restful, and beautiful vacation. Thank you so much for the wonderful accomodations.

Such a perfect place to stay. View, amenities, decorations, everything at this condo is perfect. I have stayed on Isla for many years in many different places. This is probably one of the if not the best I have stayed in. The owner has thought of everything. Truly "tranquilo"!!!!! I definitely recommend "Island Loft" You will be satisfied. Pics are exactly accurate. The property is maintained pristene. Swim with the dolphins and the turtle farm is on the same road. Also, a great restaruant; Rolandis is right down the road. Also, Zama Beach, good food and outside bar and pool as well.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway.

Our vacation at the Island Loft condo was truly amazing. The condo is elegant and immaculate...beautiful furnishings, luxurious bathrooms, a big screen TV and a gourmet kitchen. The sunsets and view of the Cancun skyline from the balcony were spectacular. We enjoyed lounging by the beachfront pool, exploring the quaint town and strolling down the beach. The island has many excellent restaurants...we loved walking down the beach for delicious lunches at Playa Tiburon. We had a wonderful vacation and hope to come back!

I had a great time in Isla Mujeres. The condo is beautiful and very confortable with all the amenities provided. Great view to the Cancun skyline and gorgeous sunsets. Short walk to beach restaurants on either side of the property. I highly recommend it. Would definately come back.

Stress literally melted away as we entered the condo and saw the breathtaking view of aqua waves washing to the sandy beach. The balcony over looks a beautiful pool and has a distant view of Cancun's skyline. The Island is filled with great restaurants, shops, and caring people. The condo was immaculate and beautifully decorated. You will return to your busy lifestyle feeling happy and rejuvenated. Enjoy!!!!

Puerta Del Mar at Isla Mujeres is like a paradise! Right at the white and soft sandy beach, a large beautiful pool with a bar in the middle; this condo is luxurious, cozy, clean and with the most beautiful sunset view from its two balconies I have seen. Just lovely!
