Located just 40 feet from the ocean on Maui's desirable west side, this 2nd floor condo has great ocean views from the bedroom and lanai. You'll be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves and the gentle breezes from the trade winds. From mid-Nov to March you can watch whales from the lanai as they playfully make leaps for your entertainment.

The condo was completely remodeled and redecorated in 2007 and is in pristine condition. It is a light filled condo located in the Maui Sands, a small complex of 76 units on 3 acres of lush ocean front property. The grounds are landscaped with tropical plants and are meticulously maintained. It has the feel of old Hawaii. There is a swimming pool and several BBQs on the grounds. There are steps leading to the ocean where you can enjoy swimming and snorkeling in an area protected by a reef that runs parallel to the shoreline.

You are a 3 minute walk from a strip mall with a full super market, coffee shop, and restaurants. There is also a small locally run produce market (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) and a health food store. Directly across the street from the complex is one of the favorite "take out" food restaurants(Okazuya) on Maui and the best fish market on the island.

The most frequent comment in our guest book is "we will never forget falling asleep to the sound of the ocean." Others include "tastefully decorated and fully equipped", "could not have dreamt of a better location", "right on the sea" and "watching sunsets from the lanai." Come visit and add your comments, you'll love it!

Smoking IS NOT PERMITTED in the unit or on the lanai. Because the unit is on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator, it is not W/C accessible. A Laundromat is located on the property. There is dedicated parking for one vehicle.
