I have rented this home twice within the past year. The first time I organized a ski trip with a group of fellow Dentists. I had such a good time, that I brought my family and another family (friends) for New Years. The place is really ideal for two families to share. We each had two kids, so there were 8 total. It was very comfortable. We had room for a few more. There was not much snow this year. It didn't matter. They did a heroic job making snow at Heavenly and we skied that for two days. We spent one day on an all day trip around the Lake. Lunch at "Burger Me" in Truckee is recommended.... Awesome hiking in the area around Emerald Bay.....We got an early start one day and drove down to Yosemite....blue sky, 55 degrees and no one there...had another awesome day.... The owner is very nice to deal with. We love this place.

We stayed at this house for Christmas week 2011. It was FANTASTIC!!! We felt like we were staying at a high end resort. It is spacious -- we had 3 families and everyone fit comfortably with all the amenities. We loved the kitchen/family room which allowed everyone to spend time together. It's true, the adults were fighting the kids to get on the arcade game. It brought back a lot of memories for us! It is so close to skiing, shops, and restaurants (but I must admit we spent most of the time hanging out in the house). Even though there wasn't a lot of snow, we still had a fabulous vacation because of this house. We couldn't have asked for anything more and will DEFINITELY be visiting again!

No disappointment here! Our group really enjoyed this beautifully designed and decorated Lake Tahoe cabin home. Surface finishes are of high quality and property has been well maintained. The kitchen opening to a great room is ideal for larger groups. Location was excellent with recreation, casinos, services, restaurants within close proximity. Owner was good to work with. We would stay here again. Other considerations include small patio/deck and steep hardwood stairs.

I organized a ski trip for our local Dental Society. My friends are a bunch of very picky dentists. Everyone loved the house and we had a great time. Highly recommended.

So it was my first time planning a Tahoe Trip with a group of 14 people and first time renting out a cabin. My friend helped me out with searching for a cabin and finally decided on this cabin. We rented the cabin for 2 days. It's near the casinos and grocery stores and Heavenly Ski Resort and Zephyr Cove where we went snow mobiling. Very spacious and 3.5 baths (the most important of all). Kitchen is spacious and living room is spacious just like the description and looks exactly like the pictures. We spent most of our time up stairs where the kitchen/living/dining room is. Great area for everyone to sit around and just hang out. Cabin is clean and stocked with the necessary supplies you need, such as soap, toilet paper, and towels. Although, I would recommend the owner to add extra toilet paper just in case. Overall, the home was awesome. We plan on renting again next year. I would highly recommend this cabin especially for a big group. Owner was very accommodating and easy to work with. Thank you again for having us!!

This is the second time time we have rented this home within the last 3 years and it is a two thumbs up for us. My 6 and 4 year old will do the same as well and they are already asking if we would come back again. It was easy to get to heavenly ski resort from the home and it was so convenient to drop him off and pick him up while my wife and daughter enjoyed the house. We look forward to coming back again. Beautiful new 2 story house, great wood floors high ceiling, marble kitchen and great tile and nice spacious bath and bedrooms downstairs. Thoroughly enjoy our stay and the owners were great... highly recommended for a group trip to South Lake Tahoe!

We had a great time at the house in July. The open kitchen/living room/dining room was great for the extended family. Plenty of room for everyone, and we loved opening the windows and smelling the fresh alpine air. Rental went very smoothly (exactly what you want!).

Owner response:Thanks, Jeff! I wanted to respond to this to address one other thing he mentioned offline. He suggested that we put some measuring spoons and wash clothes in the kitchen. We will do that the next time we're in the house.

This house was absolutely wonderful. The kitchen was beautiful, and there was more room than we even needed. The location is great. 5 minutes to the casinos. Owners are very easy to work with. Would definately rent again.

After reading so many positive comments we chose this house for a mini-family reunion with guests from Kansas. We were not disappointed! This is a beautiful spacious home perfect for a large group. The kitchen is so beautiful and luxurious we were tempted (almost) to cook but the house is also only perhaps five minutes to the casinos and local restaurants. We stayed 4 days and found many day trips close by - Virginia city, Carson Valley, and of course a trip around the lake. The house is new, modern, and very high quality. The owner has added special touches that make it fun - the video game, the card table (with cards & chips) and a lovely media system that we admired but never got around to trying. The owner was very nice to work with and quick to respond. We highly recommend this vacation home and hope to rent it again next year.

This house is fantastic and fit our group of 12 with room to spare. The location is amazing. Two minutes to the Casinos and Heavenly (NV Side). The kitchen is huge and modern. I will definately rent this house again. I really did not want to leave. Our group was very impressed with the cleanliness and beauty of your home. Look at the pictures closely! The actual product is better than the pictures. I can't wait to get back to Tahoe and stay at this wonderful house. The owners are very professional and easy to deal with. We had a great time at your place. The place is clean and spacious. The kitchen is huge. The master bedroom is huge and beautiful. We all like the place. If you don't mind, there are some little feedbacks from the group that could make the place more ideal. If these items are added, it would release some burden for travelers, like hair dryers, paper towels, spices in the kitchen. Other than that, we love the place. We are looking for future stays at your place.

We were very satisfied with this warm and cozy house. It was beautiful and in perfect location! We were close to all the excitement Tahoe has to offer! The entire house was very inviting with modern appliances and granite counters throughout. The jacuzzi tub was a perfect way to relax after a long day in South Lake Tahoe. We will definitely stay here again when we come to Tahoe!

We just spent the weekend at this house and it is even better than the pictures show! If you are going to S. Lake Tahoe this is a perfect house - I highly recommend it. The house is very clean and well equipped with everything you could need. We didn't want to leave!
