  Our family stayed here during the BMT graduation weekend of my daughter. It was very convenient. The home is very well maintained. It was perfect for us and our family members. It was a great gathering place for everyone. Our daughter loved the fact that she could come to a home and get in her 'jammies' and eat and play Yahtzee! It is very close to the airport, without all the noise! It is very close to the mall, which my sister loved! We loved every minute of the stay. Thank you Ryan and Virginia!

  I went there for a family gathering. The home looked great when I arrived. I traveled with my family, with 2 kids, and my sisters family with one child. The home is perfect size for 7-9 people. It is setup perfectly, 2 bathrooms, nice large backyard, and you can get anywhere in town. It was only 5 minutes from the airport. The person in Tucson was especially helpful in getting accomidations for me, and working with our budget. Would recommend to anyone!!

  We recently stayed in this home during the 5 days we were in San Antonio to attend our son's graduation from AF BMT. We were very pleased with the accomodations (everything we needed except for a hair dryer) and the location (very close to the airport and only a short drive to Lackland) was perfect. Lots of restaurants and shopping close by and a nice quiet neighborhood. It was a GREAT option for us since our son really just wanted to hang out & visit with family while we were there. Easy access to the freeway and the location would have made visits to area attractions very easy and quick if he had wanted to do that. Our party was quite large: Mom, Dad, Brother, Brother's Girlfriend, Sister, Grandma and Grandma's Friend...and our Airman during the day. We even had Uncle, Aunt and Cousin and Grandma's Friend's Husband visit during the day and we didn't feel cramped with the living room,large front room and yard (it has been very dry in the area and the grass wasn't as lush as the pitures depict, but that is certainly understandable and the covered porch out back made for comfortable relaxing even in the San Antonio heat). 3 bedrooms and 2 baths was plenty of space for us all to sleep comfortably and get ready for our visits. Access to the washer & dryer was great too. Plenty of parking for us and visitors as well. Ryan and Virginia were both great to work with and their flexibility was really appreciated. I would not hesitate one second to recommend this place and am already looking forward to an excuse to visit San Antonio and stay in Contessa again sometime very soon!

  I recently just stayed at this property. The location is excellent right next to the airport with minimal noise. The property is well maintaied, setup perfectly for a rental home. We stayed at this location for 10 days, the property and home is more than sufficient for the money spent. The site manager as well as the person in Arizona you deal with is kind and genuine. The home is located about 15-20 minutes from everything you want to visit in San Antonio, TX. Should I visit again I will definately come back here. Thanks soo much!!

  It was the first time we tried a rental home and now I would not do it in any other way, it definitely beats renting rooms at hotels when travelling with a large family. This place is truly in a convenient spot, very close to the airport, highways, walmart supercenter and the mall (which has a cheesecake factory..mmm). The property was clean and the pictures accurately portray the place. As the other reviewer said, it is a very quiet neighbourhood apart from the noise of trucks loading (as the backyard faces the back of a plaza). I would definitely recommend this place. Oh and yeah.. if you are tourist and feel like staying in for a movie, use the $1 dvd rentals at redbox found in convenience/walmart stores. Also you can get a passport-coupon book for free (using s.a.v.e pamphlet in tourist info places) which you can use at the mall. Great for ladies - further discounts on shopping and free "makeovers" for special evenings.

  1) We enjoyed our stay there. The city is great and the home was as advertised. It was well furnished and comfortable. 2) The location is much better than we had anticipated. It's easy to get everywhere from there and the freeway addess is great. We were able to get to Riverwalk, Alamo, Tower of Americas, San Jose Mission, Sea World, Natural Bridge Caverns, etc. with ease. 3) Although there was a little mixup in setting up our arrival, I was able to contact your agent when we got to our stop in Salt Lake City. He said she was at her other job and had already left the keys under the front mat. That was fine with us and we were able to check everything out on our own. My cell phone had been off, and I didn't notice the voicemail message from your dad until we were already settled in. I probably should have called him back - sorry. 4) The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. Despite the proximity to the airport, the related noise was not much at all. If there was any noise, it was usually from the trucks unloading at the back of the shopping mall beyond the back yard. Overall, for the price you gave us, we have no complaints. We certainly got our money's worth. Speaking of that, I noticed on my credit card statement that you refunded $50. I don't remember what that was to be for. If we decide to visit San Antonio in the future, we will certainly consider your house.

  My family truly enjoyed our experience in this rental. The house itself was older and the flavor of that was maintained in the decor and original features. Everything was as advertised and the photos were accurate. One unexpected pleasure was the back deck and yard. It made our stay more relaxing. We were in San Antonio to experience our son's graduation from military basic training at Lackland AFB and even though it took about 20 minutes, the trip was a straight and easy shoot down the freeway. I would recommend this rental to any friends or relative.
