Location: Snoqualmie Pass, North Central Cascades, Washington State, USA (50 Minutes from Seattle, Short Walk to Ski Slopes)
Accommodations: Cabin, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath (Sleeps 4-5)
Keywords: Cabin
A deluxe cabin located across from Summit Central on Snoqualmie Pass, you are able to walk to the lifts easily, or if one of the other 3 ski areas at the Summit at Snoqualmie is your destination, you can walk to the end of the drive to catch a shuttle and they will drop you wherever you wish to spend your day.
Part of a two story residence, the rental unit is on the first floor and functions as a completely separate living space from the main unit above. Our family stays in the upper unit on weekends and holidays. It has a full sized kitchen, bedroom, living dining area and a deluxe bath. Attention was put into every detail, from the slate heated radiant floors, to the jetted soaker tub with built in steam shower, you will find quality throughout. Great for a romantic getaway or a family adventure.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to whip up a great meal just bring the groceries. The granite countertops and stainless steel appliances are both functional and beautiful. It has a full size refrigerator, gas range, dishwasher, trash compactor, garbage disposal and instant hot water dispenser, so you don’t need to wait for that cup of hot chocolate when you come in from the slopes.
The living dining area has a propane gas fireplace to cozy up to. The sofa folds down to make a queen size sleeper. The table will seat 4. There is cable TV with DVD/VCR and a small stereo. We have numerous board games and movies available for your use. We do NOT have phone service or Internet. As the snow accumulates you are truly cocooned and may need to step out onto the deck for cell phone signal.
The bedroom has a king size bed to get lost in and an armoire for clothing. You can snuggle up under the down comforter for a great nights sleep.
The Bathroom is all about YOU. The large tub is great for a long soak or turn the jets on if you need to work some kinks out from the slopes. The best part however is that the enclosure doubles as a Steam Room. So grab the cedar planks to make yourself a seat and soak up the heat. Nothing takes away the chill like a hot steam sauna.
In addition, the hallway houses a stacked full size washer and dryer. There is also a cot in the closet and an extra twin mattress or port a crib can be provided if needed. There are lots of sleds on site and an assortment of cross-country gear accumulated over time so if the shoe fits you are welcome to borrow it. We also have extra of ski clothing, so ask if you find yourself in need especially for kid stuff. Our two teenage daughters are willing to babysit with advance notice.
I feel confident you will not be disappointed in your stay. A wonderful getaway close to all the winter activities. The summers on the mountain cannot be beat with lakes, hiking and biking galore. So keep us in mind as your year round relaxation getaway spot.

Hi. I’m Brandi. This picture could be me if I was 30 years younger and 50 pounds lighter. Since I’m not you get to see this great picture of my daughter during an epic snow fall year. We are an outdoorsy family who spend most of our free time either on the slopes or hiking in the forest. My dear husband and children are all adrenaline junkies who can’t quite understand mom’s preference of sitting by the fire and reading a good book. Our Moto: Mom doesn’t ask and They don’t tell! Because if I knew about the cliffs and death defying double black diamond runs they were doing I would be forced to ground the kids or divorce the husband. Lucky for me the four year old is at the same skiing level as I am so we can have lots of fun on the new slopes put in at Summit East. When not pursuing fun in the wilderness, I chauffeur around the kids to their various activities, help run my husband’s engineering firm and use my design skills to renovate dilapidated old homes which I then sell or rent. Our cabin at Snoqualmie Pass is one of my greatest success and something I am very proud of.
Why the Owner Chose Snoqualmie Pass
The great thing about Snoqualmie Pass is it is a short 50 minute drive from Seattle. Being right off I-90 the roads are kept plowed and sanded which means it is easy to get to. The cabin is very close to the lifts, even the 4 year old has no problem walking over. Our road is snow plowed and we have parking spaces in front of the cabin. The best thing about the area is it is above the cloud cover, which means when it is gray and raining in Seattle we have snow and sun. Our neighborhood is very safe and the kids can come and go as they please. An added bonus that many don’t realize is that we have warm summers up here and you can actually swim in the nearby lakes without a wet suit. We spend a lot of time hiking and biking in the mountains and this location just cannot be beat.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
When we have no one renting the downstairs, my husband and I will sneak off and use the steam sauna. It is wonderful. The whole place gives off romantic, take a break, just relax vibes. One renter commented that it made him think of cognac and cigars and with the use of old growth timbers, reclaimed wood and hardware you do get the old English pub feel. We hope you decide to see for yourself everything our cabin can offer. Just remember you cognac , but leave the cigars at home.

I surprised my husband for our anniversary with a two night getaway in this lovely cabin. He normally can be a bit overly critical, but he was blown away with the authentic way Hunts cabin is set up. You can tell they put love and care into every detail. The decor is charming and creative, from a sled acting as a pots and pans organizer to an artsy dinner table. Also, pretty much anything you can think of that you might need during a vacation (comb you forgot, pads, deodorant, laundry detergent) they have the cabin fully set up with such essentials. ONE problem we had- if you plan on leaving the cabin to go out on adventures.. be warned, the bed is so soft, it's definitely a challenge to force yourself out of bed! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking (we brought groceries to cook our meals together) they had a generous sized collection of movies and music, and a nice comfy couch nestled by the tv. There was lots of snow so the heated floors, spacious shower/sauna duo and cozy fire place were such a treat after retreating from a long day of snowboarding. That is another plus about this place, it is so convenient if you are planning to go snowboarding/skiing or snow tubing at the Summit, you could walk to Summit Central if you wanted. Overall we loved it, and can't wait to come back. Perfect for couples, elderly or families.

Booked a return visit to this cabin during the wonderful snow season and the ambience was completely different, while the comfort was still quality. Enjoyed the quiet, seclusion and the heated floors are to die for. Great retreat weekend with the serenity, fire and a kitchen to die for.

Wow, I've never seen so much snow in my life! What a great ski weekend! My husband, daughter, and I had a great stay at this charming cabin, which was perfect for a small family of three. It was well-appointed with high-end appliances and was centrally-located. Brandi made every effort imaginable to make our stay as comfortable as possible. She really did go above and beyond for us. Thank you!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hunt's Remedy last winter. The place was well-appointed, attractive, clean and comfortable. The owners were upstairs that weekend and were welcoming, kind and attentive. They were also easy to deal with for reservations, payment, etc. It's a pretty easy walk down the side of the road to Central (approximately 3/10ths of a mile). You can hear I-90 if you're outside, but I don't recall noticing road noise inside the house. It was fine for our small family (two very little ones) and would be great for a romantic get-a-way for two. I'd definitely stay there again and would recommend this place to friends. Very cool little place!

Paradise in the mountains! Hunts Remedy is the most lovely get-away. The cabin is very clean and comes equipted with everything you could think of. The heated floors throughout the cabin are wonderful! And the bathroom which doubles as a steam room is to die for after a cold day of fun in the snow! The bed is so comfortable you'll find it hard to get out of in the mornings! One step into this cabin and you'll see the the owner's took much pride and care into making this your home away from home. We look forward to many other weekends away at Hunt's Remedy. This place is definitley a ten out of a ten! Dana from Snohomish, Washington

The Cabin is right off of I90, which means you will hear the traffic. Yet once inside you will be amazed at the amenities! Great kitchen. Loved the heated floors throughout. The king sized bed with the down comforter was heaven. Quality towels for when you are done soaking in the amazing tub that is a sauna, soaking tub loaded with body jets. I highly recommend this place and the owner was so friendly easy to contact.
Owner response:I love when my renters have a great time. Cynthia visited us in the fall before the snow started to fall. I hope she will come back for a winter stay, as she will find I-90 and any highway noise disappear behind a huge snow bank as the snow piles up and the snow plow drivers work their magic.
