Raymond and I built this home in 2003. We love the floor plan. It's open and all rooms have a wonderful view. It's great for more then one family in it's design...everyone has their pravacy. We love it!

We had family from Indiana visiting and like a lake house to accommodate everyone. This house was very nice. We loved the grassy backyard and the walk to the dock was fine. The home was very clean and maintained. The owner was quick to respond to requests. We enjoyed a quick drive to Hartwell for necessities and a day trip to Commerce for some retail therapy. Besides a few small issues that arose with the house, our stay was quite fun. One recommendation would be a large patio table to accommodate up to 10 people. We would have liked to eat at the table all together.

We love this house and the location. This is our second year coming here. One of the things we like the best is the privacy at the dock. There are no neighbors right under you at the dock area. Even though the house is in a populated neighborhood you still feel like it's private. There were six adults with dogs and we all love this place! Thanks for sharing your home with us. We will be coming back. The owners are easy/wonderful to work with.

We spent three weeks there in September and first of October and have already planned on coming back for a month next year. There is plenty of water at the dock for the boat to get in and out. The house has a great floor plan with plenty of room although it was just two of us with our dogs we did have some freinds visit and it worked out perfect. Can't wait until next year to get back on the lake.

We had a GREAT girls week! This home is perfect for a week or weekend getaway. Already talking about going back next year. The bathrooms are good size..the bedrooms are perfect..and the view from the back deck was wonderful since leaves are already falling off the trees. Nice and Quite neighborhood. Even tried a little fishing but the big one got away! Thank you again for a great time had by all!

This is a great home/cottage in a nice development which is nicely decorated with a great floor plan. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for preparing and serving meals, including a charcoal grill. I was disappointed, however, in how many stains there were in the carpeting and on the furniture. This home has obviously been "enjoyed" by folks with pets and children. The towels also need replacing -- most of them were bleach-stained. Overall though this is a great value for the money and a property I would consider returning to as it was nice and quiet. One afternoon we rented a pontoon from a nearby marina and enjoyed cruising on Lake Hartwell. Lake Hartwell is a place I would consider retiring to.

We had a wonderful time at this lake house. There were 6 adults with dogs. The pictures and descriptions just do not do it justice. The walk to the dock is a very pleasant one that would be easy for most everyone. The house is very clean and we had plenty of room to spread out in. The floorplan is great if you need to escape from one another for awhile. It's almost like having two living sections the way it is laid out. We love Lake Hartwell and have been going for four years now. I know we will return to this house again. The owners are very easy to deal with. I would recommend this house to everyone (except anyone who has problems with stairs).
