Beautiful Condo!

We are currently staying in this beautiful condo. Everything is just as it was pictured and it looks even better in real life. The management has been fantastic to work with as we had two small issues and they took care of them immediately.The condo is immaculate. The only thing that could be better is a better appointed kitchen. There aren't enough pots to make a decent meal. We did make do but a pot to make pasta would be nice as would a colander for draining. There aren't many cooking utensils either but that is a small issue. Gina at the front desk is one of the friendliest people I have ever encountered. She is helpful and spent time talking to us each time we came in or left, always telling us to enjoy oour day or to have a good evening. We would definitely stay in this condo again. The view is amazing!!!!

Enjoyed our Stay

A friend and I stayed at this unit for a week this past January. We found the unit to be very clean, cozy, and found the views to be outstanding. We like to shop so staying here made it easy for us to go everywhere in a short amount of time. We'll defintely be back.

My home away from home

I have stayed in this unit three times in the last two years and will never stay anywhere else when in Myrtle Beach. The owner is nice and quick to assist, the condo has always been clean and feels cozy. I plan on going again later this year and have no reservations that this condo will be in pristine shape as it always has been when I've stayed. The way it looks online is how it looks in person. Vacation 2010

My wife and I decided to try MB due to the issues in the Gulf as we typically go to Destin, FL. We settled on this unit because the photos and description were what we had been looking for...a one bedroom condo on the beach with nice amenities. When we got to the room it looked as described (minus DVD player, washer/dryer), but after a closer look we both realized the place wasn't clean at all. The tile floors were dirty with sand and hair which my wife had to sweep into a pile and throw away. Niether the shower or sink in the bathroom would drain properly, so I took the shower drain off only to discover it was FULL of hair. I ended up using an entire bottle of drain-o between the shower and sink to get them to drain. The shower was tiled as described, but when we got in it was obvious it hadn't been cleaned in a while because there was mold/mildew built up in the grout. The freezer looked as if it had never been defrosted as it had about an inch of ice built up all the way around. At night we could hear cars and motorcycles running up and down the strip, and in the morning we could hear the conversations of everyone outside our door, not to mention footsteps of the people in the room above us. (The noise is something I could live with as that is a construction issue, not a fault of the property owner, and I'm sure in the off season it's not near as loud.) There should also be installed a deadbolt or at least a latch to the door for safety, and be careful with the balcony sliding door as the handle appears it could break at any time. Outside of the issues listed here we did have a good time, but we shouldn't have to sweep the floor or fix clogged drains as part of our vacation.

Owner response:Thank you for your comment. We reviewed your situation after recieving your comment. If the guest had contacted management at the time they discovered the cleaning issues a housekeeper would have been dispatched to insure that everything was as it should be. We were not informed of the situation until the guest had already left and we were unable to remedy it for them during their stay. The unit was thoroughly cleaned upon checkout and the following guest was very happy with the unit. As it was the housekeeper responsible for that unit has been terminated due to inattention to detail. We pride ourselves on the material condition of all of the units that we manage and will address any shortcomings immediately. We always welcome comments as they draw our attention to any deficiencies and to our strengths. We always want to know what we are doing wrong as well as what we are doing right to help us continue to grow as a company and to make us better at servicing the customer. Please feel free to ask for management at our desk and we will be happy to discuss any questions or rectify any problems.

3 Night Stay In June

I just got home from staying at this condo for three nights, and I thought I would write a quick review before I forgot my tremendous experience. First off, the condo is almost exactly as described. Very nicely furnished and in a good location. A couple of things listed in the description that I didn't find - the DVD, VCR, washer and dryer. I brought my own portable DVD player and wasn't looking to wash my clothes, so maybe I just overlooked those things. Also, be warned - the balcony is great, but definitely not private. the pictures here show that, so I knew that was the case. Again, this didn't take away from my experience. One of the main reasons I chose this unit was for the beach access, and it did not disappoint. I was on the beach in my chair in less than 10 minutes from leaving the unit. Also, the view of the ocean from the unit was incredible...very relaxing. As far as the property goes, it was OK, with a few minor issues. The pools were a little small and very crowded (even on a weekday), and the hot tubs were only lukewarm. Since I spent most of my time on the beach, this wasn't a problem for me. Also, there was only one slow elevator servicing a 15 story building. The wait was sometimes several minutes for the elevator. The parking was across the street, but it was covered parking, which was great in the summer heat. Overall, the cost of renting this unit was well worth it. I would definitely consider renting it again, and would recommend it to my friends and family. MB from Chattanooga, TN
